Adds privacy, keeps the rooms cooler, and protects furniture from sun damage. Exactly what I was hoping for! Big tips for people who haven't had much success installing. Don't be afraid to mist! Mist is your friend. All my homies like mist. Also, be patient with the bubbles. Start pressing from the center and work your way out and then around the edge. I usually cut my sheets a little oversize, and then trim the edges clean as I'm pressing bubbles out. Start with your least visible window first, it gets easier/better as you go!

Fairly dark tint, a little darker than expected. I used this on my front door- full view screen door. The summer heat really transfers through all the glass quickly, I put this on and the next day was several degrees cooler. At night time you can't really see out very well, but the privacy grey in the outside definitely does the trick at preventing on lookers from seeing in during the day. The included knife is a little cheesy but does the job, the squeegee you must use at a 90 degree angle to properly get the water out. I've used this stuff before, soak the heck out of the glass. When you spray it down, spray it again. Then, spray it some more. You risk the tinting sticking to the glass and when you pull it off it will rip or crease if it's dry. Measure your area, cut your section out. Dry fit it with the backing on. Then go to town with water spray, start at the most square corner - squeegee as you go.

Disappointing in some aspects. The roll was rolled on the long side - so the 78" was the width (not wrapped around the roll). It wasn't easy to work with to start. I get to the end of the roll and at least 10" of it was wrinkled. While I went ahead and used the product, the wrinkles did not come out. As I was applying it, if I wrinkled it, the wrinkles were not fixable even after pulling the film back up to correct. I've applied this type of film before with little problem. This was difficult at best. On the plus side, the color is great and I could feel the film blocking some of the heat from the sun coming shining in the window. Giving this a 3 star review because there is a plus side. However, if it had not been for that benefit, it would have been a 1 star because of the poor quality of what I received.

A good product but not easy to install. Must be very careful not to touch the adhesive side of the film or let it fold any creases will show. I will take a considerable time to get all of the water from between the film and the glass. When finished and the next day when water has evaporated, it looks and works great. It does darken the view from the inside.

Bought this for an interior office window, the kids can still see right through it. I guess we'll be going back to putting paper over the window and not being able to see out. This was a waste of time and money. Not hard to install and doesnt look bad but useless.

This works on reducing the heat coming in my windows, it does tint the window from seeing out side but not much, you can still see outside just fine. Has reduced my ac run time.
