I love how this looks. I bought it for my mud room that has windows on the west side. It gets very hot in there in the summer, and I thought I would try it to see if it would cool it down at all. It cooled down a very significant amount, far better than expected. It did take some time to put up, it was a learning process, but by the end of it, I felt like I had a system down for doing it that worked quickly. At the end of the summer, some of the corners warped up a little, but not enough to need to replace it, and after a cold, snowy winter, it is still up and ready for this summer. I expect it to wear out this year or next (maybe) and I intend to buy it again when that happens. It looks really nice from outside, too, all I see is a mirror reflection instead of the stuff in the mudroom. The key to applying it is to make sure you have a spray bottle of water, the water smooths everything and makes it easy to apply, don’t be shy about using it.

Purchased this for our windows that face west in AZ. It’s currently 105. The film dropped room temperature by keeping those hot sun rays out. I would say this product works. Not hard to install. I would purchase an installation kit with this purchase.

This is actually my third time trying this. I assumed the first attempt failed due to user error. Though I have done window tint on cars before without issues. The second it failed after consulting with a professional. The third failed with a professional. I assume now at this point the manufacturer has never even tried their own crappy products. I think the biggest thing that bothers me, is no matter what you use for a squeegee it will scratch the tint because there is no protective layer on the top. If you want some help with it not curling on you laying out flat in the hot sun for a few hours or use a heat gun to help. And as far as I can figure, you need at least 4 people helping you. One for each corner as you flatten it out. Honestly get a more expensive product. It will save you money in the long run. Would not recommend.

Used this for he side windows of our motorhome and he results were fantastic. It definitely helps cut down on the heat from sunlight and provides us with privacy for when we want to have the blinds/curtains up. Be aware though that having light on inside will cut down on he privacy factor as it does with all tints. We will be ordering some more for the rest of the windows.

I needed way sharper scissors to cut this properly. It did not stick on my window that great. I caved and just left it there looking less than ideal from the inside but not too terrible. I'm a little OCD, but it keeps the horrible sun out while it allows us to see outside. However, it looks AWFUL from the outside. Just awful. Not sure how to conquer that when it's mostly ok from the inside, and I can't exactly see both sides at once while installing. This is a bit thick, which makes it harder to static-cling so the bubbles I got out of it a few days ago are back again in the heat. It comes in a tight role, so I guess if you insist on purchasing make sure you can flatten it out a few hours before starting your project. If I had to get more I would but am unsure how I'd make the project go more smoothly (pun intended) other than sharper scissors which would lessen the man-handling of the plastic before application.

Just what I was looking for, gives privacy without blocking out all of the sun. I can look out my window but people on the outside cannot look in. Super happy with my purchase. The only thing I can say is pay attention to your window measurements and buy enough of it to cover it.
