The pan is well made; materials, non stick coating and handle. The bottom is flat, allowing it to work well on a glass top electric stove. The body is substantial, so it heat up evenly and it holds temperature. The non stick finish is really non stick. Cooking dry or with oil, food does not stick to bottom or sides and it cleans up easily after use. No scouring or hard scrubbing. Even though my stove is a little lopsided, the pan manages to heat up evenly, and spread the oil evenly also. Very easy to clean, since for now, nothing sticks on it. I haven't used it long enough to know about durability and sturdiness.

As per directions, I boiled water in it for about 5 minutes, then spread a thin layer of canola on the bottom and sat it on a VERY low fire for about 15 min. or so, let it cool & then rinsed it out. Cooked my peppers & eggs with a low fire in a little olive oil + salsa...and it did fine. It was easy to clean afterward. But it'll take time before I can render a final verdict! ... show more

Love this pan! I wish I could deduct a half star for the handle not being oven proof. Other than that, to me it’s the perfect large skillet. Clean up is a breeze, nice sturdy even frying surface with a thick bottom. I feel safe cooking in this as to cooking with Teflon. I use this huge pan so I don’t have to fry in batches. I also love that there are no handle “bolts” in the cooking area of the pan! ... show more

I like the look and the size of these pans but I wish they could be washed in dishwasher. I wash them by hand and every time I dry the pan, a lot of black stuff comes off the bottom of the pan onto my cloth and stains the cloth. I thought after a few washings it would go away but it’s just as much black stuff as before. I like to dry my pans after I wash them but have never had a pan that had black stuff end up on my cloth. Probably won’t order anymore of these pans. ... show more
