I just received this set, and haven’t even used it yet! But I can tell how perfect they’re going to be for what I needed them for. And looking back to high school biology, they would be way better than what we were given to use when dissecting frogs! I work with electronics, and have for over 30 years! I also work with computer hardware, circuit boards, wiring, anything you can think of that uses electricity, I’ve probably worked on it. Especially with circuit boards and other small electronics, you have to be VERY precise! If you get sloppy with your work, you risk crossing wires, potentially destroying whatever it is you’re working on, or the device it resides in. Everything in this kit is the perfect size for what I need, can be used for a number of tasks, and it’s very well built! I will have to cover parts of these tools with either electrical tape, or shrink tubing so that I don’t get zapped, but they are perfect for that I need! • The scalpels are very durable and razor sharp, as they should be! Perfect for cutting the plastic sheath on small wires, as well as cutting shrink tube to fit. • The probes are the perfect size to fish through wires to get to the hidden wire you need. • The forceps are the perfect size to hold those wires out of the way. • All the tweezers are perfect as you could imagine. • Scissors for cutting larger shrink tube. • And I’ll figure out some purpose for the groove locator, bunny ears looking tool! lol Just an all out great product for many uses!!!

Purchased 38 pc. dissection kit for my own personal specimen preservation hobby and was blown away by the quality vs. price of the kit! A great array of stainless steel tools (especially scalpel blades), and even included a set of gloves so you're ready to go! Tools were very easy to sterilize and place back safely+securely in case. Also, worth mentioning that this is from a small, family-owned company, which is always a big plus in my book :) They even included a personal "thank you" letter in the package! Would highly recommend this product for anyone in need of some affordable, Grade-A dissection tools!
