I was a bit worried about ordering this online. But the customer service reviews were pretty good. Was looking for something I could use when I can't make it to gym. Nothing fancy, just a basic affordable recumbent bike. I assembled it in a couple of hours. Used it right away for about 30 minutes at various resistance levels. Good workout. Unbelievably quiet. No wobble. Just make sure everything is nice and tight. Only esthetic nit, is they have wires that connect outside the back of bike. I just covered it with split wire loom tubing. Wonderful bike for the price. Easy assembly. My only complaint are the wood for the seat and back are not very sturdy. The part to screw into the frame looks not strong. Surprised that the frame is very nice quality but the seat woods are not. I am on the bigger side. But still under the weight limit. It seems like the seat is already lose. I got the warrenty. But I doubt they might cover just the seat part to be replaced. ... show more

    • Exceeded my expectations
This got started from my mother, now 89 years old was missing her bike rides. She's been having some balance issues & had decided to avoid doing a face plant on the road, great judgement. Her doctor much to my surprise suggested that she get a contraption that would convert her bike to indoor stationary status. It didn't take long looking at the various options available they were all likely disasters in the making. I was randomly stumbled onto this bike, it appeared to be low enough so my concerns of her falling over were minimal & I hoped it would be stable enough that it would be hard to tip over. I'll add mom stills lives alone out in the country. The assembly instructions were straight forward & included pictures/diagrams for assembly, along with the necessary tools to put it together, which took a couple hours while watching football, could have been done in under an hour with more ambition. There's plenty of adjustment in the settings for the seating position as she's less than 5 ft tall. The monitor is fairly simple tracking, time, speed, distance, calories, pulse. It has the ability to adjust the resistance increasing the difficulty in pedaling. I gave it a test ride & was impressed with how stable it was as I actually tried to tip it over rocking side to side. Mom climbed on & with ease I adjusted the seat for her height & she was off to the races. She began doing a mile a day as I didn't want her over doing it, that didn't last as she decided she was going to do more. She hasn't missed a day since then racking up the miles. I've since purchased another one for myself to work off all the Christmas cookies. This isn't some gym quality unit but definitely a great value for the money, I had low expectations that were exceeded, or I wouldn't have bought another. ... show more

    • Happy (recumbent) biker!
I now have 2 JEEKEE recumbent bikes and I'm a big fan. First, they are very reasonably priced. Second, despite my limitations as an assembler of machines, I found the instructions easy to follow. Third, I'm 6'5", 250 pounds, and wear a 17 shoe. My big feet forced me to get larger replacement pedals so I could both fit into the stirrups and get more leg extension. Despite straining the size limits of the bike, I've been able to use it comfortably. Finally, the bike has held up extremely well: The first bike has 2 years and 5,000 miles on it and runs as smoothly and quietly as the first day I used it. I have been so pleased with the first bike that I recently bought a second one for another location. It rides as well as the first bike but I ran into a problem with the console freezing up. I contacted JEEKEE and received a same-day reply that they would replace the console. The replacement arrived in 3 days and initially seemed to have the same problem. I contacted JEEKEE again and they responded within 24 hours with a video illustrating assembly and a suggestion that if I still had problems, I should send a video of my attempts to fix the problem. It turned out that the problem was the batteries that came with the first console -- once they were replaced, everything worked perfectly. Took awhile to put it together, getting all the wires hooked up was a chore but overall, the bike is solid, nice looking and my wife loves it much better than an upright stationary bike!

    • Seat Uncomfortable
Have had this bike for about a month. Took about two hours to assemble. Not to hard. Big issue is the seat. It is smaller than my previous recumbent bike and very uncomfortable after riding for about 10 minutes. I'm six feet tall and 170 lbs. Also the handle bars on the side are just to short. They really need to be about a foot longer. I'm reaching back if I use them which adds to the discomfort. I wouldn't recommend the bike. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was Just a little disappointed that the pedal piece that holds the strap was broken. It appeared to be glued but i am happy that i can still use the bike. Its sturdy enough and a good fit for my size i am 5'7"and i weigh 220 pounds the monitor works very well and the bike is very quiet and easy to move the tension is ok best for beginners like myself ,with the dial turned to 8 it was still easy to pedal. It was Packed very nicely and the instructions were easy to follow i loved how the bolts washers nuts etc were labeled and packaged i just slit holes in the top of each section of pieces and pulled them out as needed so things would not get mixed up. Although there is a website to contact company i was unable to ,to see about a new pedal. Its only day 1 of having my new bike and i hope all continues to go well with it.
