Order came fast. I got to use it today for the first time. Made chicken. It came out great. I also purchased the silicone handles and the scraper which both came into good use. The handles get extremely hot. I recommend getting the silicone handles b ur also use oven glove as it’s still really hot. It comes with a nice glass top as well. I've only used this once, but I expect to use it often now that I have found that it performs well. Heated up quickly and produced nice grill marks on pork chops that had been prepared with a marinade that included sugar and soy sauce. In my old griddle pan, such a marinade always ended up crusting the pan such that it became a hassle to clean. I bought this pan to replace my cast iron. I have always had gas appliances and the house I recently bought is electric. My experience with an electric glass stove top is less than desirable, so I tried this pan. WOW! I am pleased with how well it heats up and my burgers fried up nicely, with a little searing on the outside and grill marks, my burgers were just how I like them. I have only used this pan on top of the stove, so I am not sure what heat resistance meant, so that got 4 stars. The rest is 5 stars for sure! Be very careful, those pan handles get extremely hot, it only took me once to know to leave my silicone pads out when using this pan. Really hot! The glass pan cover is of good quality and if I read correctly, the pan with lid is about 4 1/2 pounds. A nice sturdy pan yet safe for glass top stoves. This little grill pan is worth every penny.
