At almost 73 (yikes!), I was starting to notice that I no longer was being able to open certain cream/milk/oj cartons (pliers!) or screw tops (thank goodness for mother's under the lip popper!). So, the openers being reviewed popped up and I thought I would give them a try, especially since there was one jar I REALLY wanted to get opened. My results are mixed. The smaller opener for liquid cartons worked well for my small hands. BUT, I had to poke my little finger through the other side to pop out the cap and try not to get my finger stuck on the lift tab opener. The larger wrench type screw top opener I tried on three jars with success only on one. Two of the lids were larger then the largest slot. Obviously not workable, but what I really needed. The pickle jar did fit and opened almost too easily. Jury still out on big opener. I may stick with my faithful under lid popper which has served me well for years. The large opener is big. The handle is thick. And you still need to be able to hold the jar while using the opener. In the end, the jar I really wanted to open ended up in the trash. No one or anything could open it. Poop... 1/20/22 OK, I kept this a bit longer and am sending it back. When it is unable to open a SCREW-TOP on a bottle whine, you know this isn't worth....poop....
