My daughter picked out this set because she liked the pretty color and design of the skirt and ruffle. It did seem to run a little larger in sizing, so theres a little extra fabric in the torso length. Waistband of skirt fit perfectly, She found it comfortable overall. I think the fabric looked a little thin, would be nice if the larger sizes came with extra lining/shelf bra inside. We ordered size 12-14. She's 11 yrs old, about 60" tall and 108 lbs... This is the cutest little swim suit. My daughter loves that it comes with a skirt to wear around before and after swimming. The skirt is sheer and see through but it very soft. You could probably swim in the skirt as well but I feel like it would get heavy and fall off if wet. The swimsuit itself was soft and solid, not see through at all. The fabric feels of good quality. The fit was a little on the bigger size for my daughter but It has an adjustable strap that helped us secure it to a comfortable wear. ... show more

This is very pretty, and this brand is nice. I initially picked it because of the pictured color and one shoulder style for a child's gift. I didn't debate and read much before ordering it. . . In hand, I love the color, ruffled detail, and the pattern on the skirt. It is just as pictured. On inspection its stitches are sewn very well, and the shoulder strap is an upgraded quality. When I saw the tag say they design mother and me designs, it makes sense. This is made with the quality of a woman's suit. It is a child's size, but little kids can be rough on seams and straps, so I am glad it's top quality. I will look for Grace Karin for the rest of our suits.
