The water filter is wonderful, the water tastes so clean, the installation is easy. We did have a problem with the filter not working properly but Ispring Support especially Sean was great, so helpful, and sent a replacement filter within a week. I would highly recommend the filter. We have tried other systems and this was is superb. It fits easily under the sink.

We decided to try this tankless RO system after finding a crack in the manifold of our APEC water system. Bottom line up front... this thing is great, produces good tasting water, and it WORKS WITH OUR FRIDGE WATER AND ICE MAKER. Installation: installing this system is easy but the instructions can be confusing. If you’re handy you won’t have a problem. Installed filters, connect the inlet, drain, and faucet lines, plug it in and it starts. Let the faucet run 30 mins and your set. A couple notes... 1. The inlet is 3/8 not 1/4 inch line. If you have an existing system you’ll have to change out your supply valve and line. 2. The “rinse” described in the manual happens automatically after you plug the system in. Let it run it’s course before turning on the faucet. Fridge water and Ice: you can use ISpring’s kit to do this but I used what I had previously installed. 1. Install a t-fitting in the outlet line that goes to the faucet as shown in pics. 2. Connect 1/4 line from the t-fitting to the fridge inlet. 3. That’s pretty much it. When the fridge calls for water the RO system turns on. There’s some misinformation out there that the faucet turns on the system but this is false. My ice makers are making plenty of ice and I’ve had no issues. Performance: Pressure: pressure at the faucet seems slightly less than our old traditional system. However, it’s very consistent pressure even when filling a large container. Taste: the first day the water tasted a little like our tap water. After that though it definitely tasted better, more like bottled water. Volume: where a traditional RO system will slow down the more you drain the tank this system doesn’t do that. It’s very consistent and just keeps making good tasting clean water. Space saving: I replaced a 4 gallon traditional RO system with this one. It’s amazing to have the space under the sink back. No tank is the way to go. If you’re in the fence about this system or a traditional RO get this one.

Initial review: 1.) extremely easy install — if you can read and hold a wrench, then enjoy this cake walk install! 2.) water tastes great, crisp and has low TDS, consistently 3.) with a little bit of foam lining, I butted this up against the inner cabinet and can barely hear it 4.) simplicity all around: simple filters, simple connectors, simple look, simple glowing indicators. Literally exactly what I wanted! Cons: - Filling out warranty was miserable experience as the web form is finicky - Julius from customer service did it for me. - I had one missing clip for a hose. I rigged one with wire that I keep around for these types of situations. Long story short: this is what RO systems should be like. Easiest -to- date home improvement project I’ve taken on. Side Note: buy a diamond drill bit if you don’t have an opening in your granite/marble and drill patiently. (1/2” and make sure you notch it first by drilling sideways - create a steady groove — and have fun!)

If your countertop is stone/granite you will need to consider faucet hole drilling guidance. The install of the unit is straight forward for a DIY, and no tank to take up space. The water is great. No mineral post filter, because water was never meant to be a source of nutrition.

I purchased this unit after a similar, larger system from another company became unusable the first time I needed new filters, as they had disappeared from the marketplace. I wanted a company that would be around for a while. I've seen iSpring before, and decided to try the 500 GPD system. It worked flawlessly and produced all the water we needed. (I don't use 500 GPD, but wanted the large unit for the RATE of production.) I added a small pressure tank when I installed it in my RV, and it supplies the tank, the drinking water faucet, the refrigerator's ice maker, and the espresso machine. At the 1 year mark, it started signaling that it needed new filters. I purchased these and when I went to install them, the unit leaked a fair amount of water every time I turned it back on. Examination of the cupboard it sat in showed that it had leaked for a while. I contact customer support to see about opening it up for repairs (I'm pretty handy) but they said that they would simply send me a brand new unit and I could just transfer over my existing filters and membrane. I live in my RV full-time and had to coordinate having the unit sent to where I would be. They actually sent out two because of a snafu, but I have my new unit and it works just fine. I can't say enough about the friendly support from the company, getting me a new system from Georgia up to Idaho, my current location. Excellent service, and if you are buying an expensive item like this, you want to know that it will be yours for a long time.

I did quite a bit of research before buying this RO filtration system and one thing that was holding me back from purchasing this unit was the two negative Amazon reviews. But after doing my research and comparing the features of this unit to other RO filters, I decided to take a chance on this one... and I am SO GLAD I did. It was everything I wanted in an RO machine... and more! PROS: LOW WASTE WATER- One thing that sold me on this machine was the low water waste when compared to other RO filters. We are on a low-producing water well, so every gallon matters. Some other units will waste 10 gallons of water for every 1 galloon of good water. Good machines are 1 waste to 1 good gallon. Great machines are 1 waste to 1.5 good. This machine is 2:1 per the iSpring website, meaning it only wastes 1 gallon of water for every 2 gallons of good water it produces. EFFECTIVE FILTRATION- This filter is very effective at filtering the water. I tested our water without the filter and it had 333ppm dissolved solids in it. While using the filter, it was 11ppm (when I took the picture). It actually dropped all the way to 9ppm after the picture. And tastes delicious too! TANKLESS- There's no storage tank (like what most RO filters have). It's now clean and de-cluttered underneath my kitchen sink. FAST FLOW RATE- We've had multiple RO machines in the past (with a storage tank)... and they just dribble and dribble for hours, wasting lots of precious water to fill up the water tank. Because there was no storage tank for this filter, I was concerned before purchasing that the water was going to dribble into my cup. But it flows much faster than I expected! I filled up a nice sized drinking glass in about 20 seconds and I filled up a 1-gallon water jug in about 2 min 45 seconds. The iSpring website shows 500 gpd (gallons per day). Very impressed! FAIRLY EASY INSTALLATION- The unit was fairly easy to install. I would say it was only a little easier to install than a normal RO filter that has a tank. But on this unit, all the water lines plug into the same spot on the RO filter, so it is a much cleaner look. 'SMART' FAUCET- One extra perk of this filter (which I didn't realize when I purchased it) is that the faucet actually has a digital display showing you how many ppm's are in your water as it's coming out. Way cool! I used a separate hand-held ppm tester to make sure it was accurate... and it was spot on! CONS: COST- One con is obviously the price. With tax, this unit was nearly $600. But in my opinion, it was well worth the investment for my family. I was hesitant to spend this kind of money on a water filter, but am glad I did. NOISE- The unit is not very noisy, but please know it does have a built-in pump that turns on every time you get water. Overall, I am VERY happy with my new RO filtration system and would recommend it to everyone looking for a machine! No one paid me or asked me to write this review. It is simply from a HAPPY customer!
