I got this for a carplay that had a terrible microphone. Luckily the carplay and an external mic port. Snapped it in and BINGO!! Everyone can now hear loud and clear. Also the cable is long enough to go from the center of the dash and up to the top of the door pillar in my old 2001 Tahoe. Oh and it has a small spring loaded clip to secure the mic. The microphone does work but it sounds like your in a canyon. Maybe it's my stereo but I've tried several different locations to fix the issue but nothing helped. I will try another brand.

I tried it with this mic close to my mouth then tried it with just the stereo mic and the people I was speaking to said it sounded much better without the mic connected. Gues it was a waste of time and I was so excited for it to sound clearer.
