I've used this vacuum for about a week now and let me tell you, its fantastic. I have cats, and the area in front of their litter box has always had some litter end up on the floor when they come out after doing their business so its an everyday thing to vacuum that area alone. I run the roomba every day before I get home from work and walk into a perfectly clean floor every time. The mop feature is tremendous and works surprisingly well. I was a little skeptical about the quality of mop the roomba could do but I was very surprised when I saw how good it actually did. I had 1 issue when setting the vacuum up, it got stuck in an endless software update and none of the trouble shooting tips worked. I eventually tried the last tip which was to remove 9 screws on the bottom of the vacuum and remove the battery to force a hard reset, which ended up working. Since then I've had no issues and really enjoy being able to come home to a clean floor every day. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Vacuum, mop, self empty great. Its intelligence, however, is absolutely dreadful. Goes over the same spots over and over and gets caught in the simplest obstacles. Makes finishing room twice as long! Our older Roborock was way “smarter” and more efficient on the cleaning pattern. It’s maddening watching this Roomba. It’s the dumbest “smart” vacuum I’ve ever bought. It can’t learn edges, just keees bumping and going along in increments of a few inches. In the video you can see part of what I’m talking about. BTW that video is of the 3rd time it went into that very same spot under the bowl. Wait, as I’m writing this it went under again!!! 4 times so far in one cleaning!!! You can see on the map it took an hour for not even one complete room. You can also see how many times it went back and forth over and to the same areas.. horrible horrible cleaning algorithm. Update: I hate this thing. Super loud. Brush design makes it nearly impossible to get hair out. It keeps creating new maps on its own. Constantly gets lost. Constantly hangs up on obstacles. Constantly returns to the same spot. Map on app cannot be edited real time so you can create boundaries graphically while the robots location is pinpointed on the app. Now gets lost immediately leaving the dock. As soon as it hits the floor it says it’s lost and needs to calibrate itself and then makes me physically return it to the dock. This is trash.
