It transitions seamlessly from carpets to hard floors, adjusting its suction power automatically. Watching it navigate around furniture and corners without getting stuck was pretty impressive. The vacuuming performance itself is solid, it picked up dust, pet hair, and crumbs effectively, even in spots I typically struggle to clean thoroughly. Mopping: I was genuinely excited about the mopping function, and it didn't disappoint. It's not going to replace a deep manual clean, but for everyday upkeep, it's a solid performer. So far so good! Very easy to connect to the internet. Start connection in the app and it leads you thru set up. The vacuum mapped and finely navigated the upper level of the home. Can track progress on the app. Doesnt unnecessarily bump into furniture. It moved with purpose and direction. For the cleaning, you can select rooms or do all rooms. Can mop and vacuum or either. I dont use the mop function because it just drags around cold water, so I cant speak to that. It stays away from stairs. It cleans corners very well. Picks up dust and debris nicely. Has not gotten stuck under furniture as it knows what to stay away from. The vacuum is solid and well made. No ability to schedule the cleaning in the app. The app is not terrible, just basic. ... show more

I've been using the iRobot Roomba Combo 105 for a few days now, and overall, it’s a good value for those looking for a basic robot vacuum with light mopping capabilities. While it's not perfect, it does well in several key areas. Pros: 1. Easy to Use Setup was simple and intuitive. The app walks you through the process, and even those new to robot vacuums will find it user-friendly. Scheduling and starting cleanings is straightforward. 2. Good Battery Life The battery holds up well. It’s sufficient for cleaning most small to medium-sized rooms without needing a recharge mid-cycle. 3. Convenient and Low Maintenance Once scheduled, the Combo 105 mostly takes care of itself. It returns to its dock automatically, and maintenance like emptying the bin or cleaning the filter is easy and infrequent. However, you do have to refill the water container before each use. 4. Solid Vacuuming Performance For the price, the vacuuming is impressive. It picks up dust, hair, and crumbs effectively on hard floors and low-pile rugs. It does a decent job on daily debris and is great for touch-up cleaning between deeper cleans. Cons: 1. Mopping Is Minimal The mopping function is more of a surface wipe than a true cleaning. It’s fine for light dust but won’t handle sticky spills or more stubborn grime. You’ll still need to manually mop regularly but not as often. 2. Struggles with Obstacles It doesn’t reliably avoid small objects like cables, pet toys, or uneven floor transitions. It occasionally gets stuck under furniture or tangled, which interrupts cleaning sessions. 3. App-Controlled Block Zones Aren’t Perfect The app allows you to set blocked areas, but the robot doesn’t always respect them. It sometimes wanders into zones that are supposed to be off-limits, so physical barriers are still helpful if you want to keep it out of certain rooms or spaces. Final Thoughts: The Roomba Combo 105 is a great entry-level robot for those who prioritize easy vacuuming with minimal input. It’s ideal for apartments or homes with mostly hard floors and light messes.     • Eh.. Decent but Leaves Alot to be Desired
This thing seems to be getting dumber by the day. It started out pretty decent vacuuming and mopping. After a few times using it though, now it seems to get itself stuck regularly and has trouble finding its way home. Also, the battery life is very disappointing. It will run out of battery vacuuming a 500-sf space on deep clean mode. Then it takes hours to charge, making a simple task a day-long ordeal. The vacuuming on hard surfaces does well, but it has a hard time getting into tight corners. Lastly, the mopping leaves ALOT to be desired. Streaks and dried haze make the wood floors look worst off than when it started (works ok for the tile floors, or at least it isn't visible). The good is that it does a great job vacuuming the area rugs and is pretty convenient when you have to leave out or multitask. I'd take it just for the vacuuming part because the mopping isn't it! ... show more
