  • It's Okay But Cheap
This server/wine cabinet is pretty good I suppose. I just bought a new house and spent a pretty penny on new furniture around the house and have a good idea of how much quality furniture is. I'd say while this item is pretty good, I think I probably should have spent about twice as much on a true piece of furniture of better quality, The way the doors open you have to grab onto the wood because they don't have handles. The magnet holding the doors shut barely works and just the smallest amount of pressure pulling on the wood door opens it. In other words, the magnets are weak beyond belief. The sharp, hard edges around the entire cabinet just scream "cheap furniture" and if you take the bottom crate out once or twice you're definitely going to scratch either it or the shelf it sits on. Let's be honest, this furniture isn't made to last a lifetime. I get that, but for two hundred dollars I'd expect a little more. I think the proper price for this piece of furniture is around $150 brand new in package. On the used market, it'd sell for maybe $60 even in perfect condition. Unpacking it was a pain in the butt. Little foam pieces all over so it was an exercise of removing one to two pieces then using a hand-vac to suck up all the foam balls. It took about 25-30 minutes just to unpack and probably another 2.5 hours to assemble with a cordless drill. If you use a non-powered screwdriver, this entire cabinet will easily take 4 hours to fully assemble. On the note of wood glue, someone said they don't give enough and you need to go buy more. Not true! They give plenty if you know how to use it. You don't fill holes all the way with the glue, you just put a small gob of it in each hole. I had glue leftover, maybe used 80% of it. ... show more

  • Beautiful but damaged parts
Update: We were sent the missing pieces by the company and its a gorgeous addition to our home. Absolutely love it. This is a beautiful item and fit exactly what we were looking for to have a coffee bar in our living room. Unfortunately after we had assembled almost the entire thing one of the shelves had a piece of softwood and literally shredded as we were trying to put it together. I don't want to return the whole thing, and I'm hoping there's a way to get a piece to replace the one that was damaged rather than disassemble and send back the whole thing. I was hoping to have this together for the holiday but it came over a week late and now we can't finish putting it together. ... show more

  • Perfect Bar
This was an awesome purchase! We wanted a bar with plenty of space but also had cabinets - we have cats who like to get into things lol This is perfect for that. It took a while to assemble, but there are just a lot of pieces. Assembly directions were easy to follow. It seems like high quality so far and looks great in our dining room. ... show more

  • Time consuming assembly, but well worth it!
Assembly is a bit tedious, but the final product is beautiful and sturdy. We have a baby and a big dog, so something that could hold up to constantly being bumped into was a must. This passes the test. It certainly looks much higher-end than the price would indicate and I've received a number of compliments from guests. If you have about 2 hours to slap it together (think wood glue, dowels, screws, pegs, bolts, magnetic plates...) it's a worthwhile purchase. At least it only requires assembly once! ... show more

  • Material is very cheap. Not worth the$
Material is compressed wood. Very cheap. The screw stripped and had to buy another screw to put together. I definitely do NOT recommend this product. I guess you get what you pay for.

  • Ok for the Money!
Relatively cheap, but didn’t cost a fortune either. I guess I’m expexting handcrafted real wood for cheap, but that just doesn’t really happen. It did come with a damaged door, so I had to go through the hassle of getting a replacement. That process is always a pain, but it really wasn’t too bad with the manufacture. I have deal with worse for sure. ... show more

  • Too much money for poor quality
For the cost, this bar is very cheaply pressed particle board. The base was already quite loose. It’s certainly a nice looking piece, but it’ll never survive moving. For a fairly expensive piece, I’d have liked a sturdier, more robust product.

  • Hard to assemble, easy to break, expensive.
Once it was assembled it looks beautiful. Assembly was irritating. The materials are made from particle board and not true wood. I almost broke a piece from using my drill. Too much money for particle board.
