Ive only used it a couple times but Im in love. Ive been looking for a hand mixer for a long time bc my Stand mixer is too much trouble for the smaller recipes. This mixer checked all the boxes. Its light weight, comfortable handle, whips up peaks n no time, Instead of having to lay it down, its body can rest on the bowl. After many decades of service, my Kitchenaid hand mixer -- which still worked perfectly -- could no longer keep ithe beaters secured. Yes, I know that it could possibly be fixed, but due to its age and the fact that I've fixed enough in my life at this point, I didn't bother to explore if the parts for this 30+ year old model were still available to do so. So I did my research and read reviews, and this mixer looked like it would fit the bill -- and it did. Solid quality, performs well, powerful enough for my baking needs, a nice weight (not too heavy, but also not too light) and the fact that it can be stored along with its attachments (including a whisk) was a revelation to me. I have had this mixer for almost 6 years now and it is still working great. I have bought three Hamilton beach hand mixers over the years like this and they all still work. My first one doesn't hold onto one of the beaters as well anymore, but it's seen a whole lot of hours of usage before it got to that point. One thing that I really appreciate about the Hamilton Beach hand mixers are the sturdiness of the beaters themselves. I have tried other brands in the past and had the beaters give out within the first month. But these beaters are great. All of the ones I have are still holding up really well. The mixer is holding up well in terms of use and speed. It does vibrate a little bit, especially on the higher settings, but it does not seem to impact it's functionality. ... show more
