I used burnished brass to spray paint my bathroom shelf which was previously black and a silver metal cart I found a thrift store which I made into an "entertainment cart." I loved this color because it wasn't a cheesy yellowish gold but a beautiful rich gold. I love how the faucet in my bathroom almost looks like the same gold. I definetely recommended purchasing more then you think you may need because as it dries you will want spray a bit more to fix any inconsistencies but be very careful spraying too much because it can look uneven and almost create a "drip" effect. Its also good to have an extra amount for touch ups as time goea by. I also HIGHLY recommend getting a spray gun, it makes a WORLD of difference. Its almost impossible to always spray with the same exact pressure everytime with just our bare fingers but the gun guarantees consistency and just an even coat. Also, its best to spray outside, the spray has strong odor. ... show more

I've been doing a lot of hardware updating on the cheap, experimenting with the line of metallics. I've gotta be the worst painter ever, but with a good sanding, cleaning and two or more *light* coats, pretty much anything will look good. I credit the paint. It's amazing what a $6.00 can of paint can do. I especially like the sparkly Satin Nickel, so two towel racks, three ceiling lights, and nine drawer knobs and several door knobs got new matching finishes. Awesome Results for Painted Wheels. If painting your wheels, get paint with metallic flakes, it does make a difference in the final result. Painted my F150 Wheels properly. 1)Etch Primer / 2 Coats 2) Metallic Paint / 2 Coats 3) Clear Coat. This paint gave a very professional finish when you apply light coats in between. Be patient and coat well without the drips. Allow to dry fully 24 hours. 5 Cans was enough for 4 / 20 inch Truck wheels. I wanted to paint some cheap-o IKEA lamps from stainless steel to brushed gold. I’d never attempted a project like this before but I figured it was worth a shot. It was remarkably easy and I’m happy with the results. This paint is kind of matte-gold but with very subtle sparkle. Really, so pretty. I used a fast-drying primer first (a couple coats). After a couple coats of the paint there were 2 or 3 spots that looked a little janky. So I sanded (with super fine grit sandpaper) and went over them again. I thought “this is it, this project is circling the drain.” But NO! It worked out beautifully! Now I’m looking around my house for stuff to spray paint! ... show more

I ordered this in Rose Gold. I don't know if I'm going crazy or something but this color looked off from the start; however, I'm unable to locate an actual color name on the can. It simply says "Metallic." (Why wouldn't a company put the name of the color on the can???) Upon use, I discovered it to be neither rose nor gold. After browsing the other options in order to get to the end of this mystery, I believe I may have accidentally been sent "Antique Brass." Yeah, so check out my project if you're interested in seeing what Antique Brass (probably) looks like. I really should have tested this out prior to spraying my metal hooks. It looks pretty cool if you're into the old patina look, I just happen to not care for it. Regarding the actual paint, it seems to create a true metal finish. It sprays smoothly and evenly distributed pattern. I believe that it should be held at least 18-24" away from the target. 2-3 coats seem to be ideal. ... show more

Love this spraypaint! I used it to change my daughter's bed from pink to the warm gold color. Also sprayed her nightstand drawer pulls. Has held up beautifully! Went thru 9 cans total on the canopy bed, drawer pulls and a few small decor items. Can't recommend enough!
