Description

Further improving the 11" iPad Pro, Apple has added a few new advancements for upgraded performance, entertainment, and usability. Replacing the A12X processor, the A12Z Bionic has performance rivaling that of laptops available today, in addition to an eight-core graphics processor that handles everything from games to 4K video editing. Moreover, it's still paired with a Neural Engine chip for advanced machine learning. The iPad Pro's display features the same Liquid Retina technology found on iPhones, and has a 2388 x 1668 resolution, ProMotion technology, wide color and True Tone support, as well as a 600 cd/m2 brightness rating. On the rear, Apple has added a 10MP ultra-wide camera, enabling different perspectives and multi-camera use. A newly added LiDAR scanner, which determines distance by determining light reflection, further readies possibilities for augmented reality and beyond. With "Pro" in its name, the iPad now features five studio-quality microphones that capture clean audio and the quietest details. The combination of the pro cameras, audio enhancements, and its large display makes the iPad Pro a suitable mobile studio option for creative users. On the software side, iPadOS now supports trackpad inputs for an easier time navigating including mult-touch gestures. Lastly, Apple has opted for a USB Type-C connector rather than its traditional Lightning connector for additional features and broader compatibility with other devices. I bought this IPP as a supplement for my piano lessons. When I got it I plugged it in and It did not come on. Through some trial and error I thought the chord was bad. Amazon hooked it up and got me a new chord. Seemed OK then I started having trouble getting it to charge. It would give me the tone and the indicator (lightning in the corner) showed it was. I would come back later and it had not charged. Again fenagle it and it would charge. I called Amazon support and they said switch plugs. Well it worked, so I figured maybe it was a screwy outlet. Nope...same thing. I have to plug and re plug into something else. So it is still screwy. My problem is if it goes completely dead I will have a $800 paper weight. It was summer and I am slam busy and do not have time to screw with things so it gets to 1% and I am having trouble getting it to charge...oh crap!! I did get it to work. I lose 14% power per day just sitting there so every 6 days I have to make sure I charge it. Problem is now I have lost my window and Amazon will not supply any support whatsoever. I feel it is there responsibility to make it right since it has been an issue since day one. So the moral of the story is be on it. If you get a renewed amazon product and you have a gut feeling it is not right trade it out immediately!! Sorry Amazon you missed the mark on this one for me. ... show more

Charger: The charger does not work, so you will have to purchase that separately. Screen: There are quite a few scratches, but once you put a screen protector on top, you can not see them anymore. Overall Performance: It does work pretty well and is fast for most general uses like streaming videos and taking notes. I do not know if it works for high performance streaming games or drawing art. Overall, I do think you are getting what you paid for. The iPad works fairly well overall for second hand use. The only issues I have are the battery and charger. I think the battery does drain rather fast when using compared to other models- but it was not so concerning to the point where I felt that I needed to reach out to the seller. And as mentioned previously, my other concern was the charger; the charger does not work and is not from Apple so you will have to purchase that separately or try reaching out to the seller (something I have not done). ... show more
