I've wanted a hot tub for years but the cost has been prohibitive. Couple that with being a renter, and it didn't make much sense. Enter a pandemic, and lots more time spent at home, along with lots of extra stress. I decided it was time to treat myself! I did a lot of research ahead of time. I went back and forth between the Coleman and the Intex and finally settled on this model mostly because it came with everything I needed. It was delivered in a timely fashion, way before it was expected. I have put it in a basement family room on a rug. Praying this does NOT backfire on me! Since we live in Maine, it's not suggested to be put outdoors since it's so cold, and icy here. Thus, the family room. The tub itself has given me no problems. The whole set up was very intuitive. We barely looked at the directions. It inflated within 2 minutes. I expected it to take up a bit more room, that's why I bought the 4 instead of the 6. Turns out I could have splurged on the 6, but this is fine for what we need. The pump fits directly into the side of the tub, and it installed easily. Now finding a way to fill the tub has been another issue. I eventually found a connector that would attach the hose to a showerhead. In the end my teen son found that filling it was a bucket was just as easy. It took about 2 days to fill with water, and to get the heat up to 104. It seemed pretty quick to me, but also keep in mind it's in a heated basement and on an insulated ground cover. It probably takes longer if outdoors in the cold. The next problem was finding chlorine in Maine in the winter. Ugh! I settled for a 3 inch tablet that I ran over with my car. LOL. It worked, and I was able to put some in the tiny dispenser. I plan to order bromine online since I hear that's better for indoor tubs. Last night was the big reveal. Tub full of 104 degree water, ambient lighting, and bubbles! It felt divine. Here's the real test. My son is 6'6 and I am 6 ft. and we fit in comfortably. He was even able to stretch out fully. We may be able to get one more in if we don't care about being close. It's perfect for 1, decent for 2, or 4 smaller folks may fit. After we were done, we covered it with the enclosed cover and latched it. WE've only enjoyed it once, but I have a feeling we will use it daily especially during these Maine winters. We may even move it outside this summer to use as a small pool. I will try to update in a while. So far, so good! Update 11/21- The pump is shot. It’s throwing an E95 code which means the water is too hot. The water is cold. It will no longer turn on the heat, and the water is not circulating. I now have a green swamp sitting in my family room. I’ve tried looking for replacement pumps but they don’t seem to be sold individually. I’m hoping that the warranty may cover it but it’s difficult to speak to a human being:(

I have to say I purchased this spa with some skepticism. Both myself and my spouse have chronic pain issues and a hot tub was recommended to ease symptoms. A full sized spa was out of the question both size wise as well as fitting into our budget. I saw that a portable "plug and play" would be affordable and so I looked further. Reading descriptions and reviews, I wasn't too impressed at first but some looked more promising. The Intex brand seems to have the consistently good reviews I was looking for. My concerns were sturdiness, ease of installation, mechanical soundness and performance/usefulness. Based on information available, I settled on this model and decided to give it a chance. Admittedly, my expectations weren't high. I hoped for decent quality based on reviews but was basically thinking it would be a big bathtub with some bubbles like a carbonated drink. It arrived quickly and on time. I was expecting a lengthy and possibly frustrating process to try to get it up and running. To my surprise my guy had it installed in our chosen spot and was filling it up in under two hours! Everything went together easily and the instructions were simple to follow. The best part was the following day when it was up to temperature and we hit the bubble button for the first time. Wow! The force of the bubbles was impressive! After getting in and trying it out we were amazed! The spa is comfortable and the bubbles provide enough force to be quite therapeutic. You can position yourself different ways to direct the pressure where you need it. We've been enjoying this every evening for over four weeks now and are thrilled with the results. Its been simple to maintain also. I can't recommend this enough. We've showed this off to friends and family who were also impressed at the looks and performance of this spa. So happy we gave this a chance!

So far, I've had this hot tub up and running for just under a week. I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised by how durable this thing seems for being a blow-up hot tub. It was very easy to get put together and set up. It came kind of pre-installed and just needed some minimal attaching and inflating. The machine it comes with does the airing up for you, although the instructions say to air it up for 8-10 minutes but do not overinflate. It only took like 2.5 to 3 minutes to fully inflate, so don't set it and think you have 8 minutes to burn somewhere else. You'll be sad. It didn't take long to fill up, either, and was heated by the following day ready to enjoy. I'd say it fits 2 people comfortably, 3 people if you like each other, and 4 if you're all tiny little pre-teen people. Otherwise, it's gonna be a squeeze. The filter is quiet. The bubbles/jets get loud but that's kind of obvious when water is moving. You'll need a music speaker pretty close by if you want to hear music over that when you have the jets going. The two pillows it comes with might be comfortable for really tall people. I'm 5'4 and all it does for me is push my head forward. Better to just lean against the side of the tub instead. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with it at this time. I'll update my review if anything changes. Forgot to add that the cover actually fits nicely and is easy for one person to put on and latch.
