Okay so I delayed my review on this until I installed it and was able to use it! The installation is pretty straightforward, as above ground pools go. Choose a level, solid surface to make your insulation easier. I did have a grade to may install site, so I had to do some digging and leveling. The instructions to suggest using 18 inch pavers to go under your frame legs. I used cheaper 12 inch pavers, I would recommend the larger pavers for a more forgiving install. It's a two person install for the most part. Forgive my initial pictures, as I was still dialing in the chemicals and getting the iron out of our well water. If you fill with a well, be prepared to run the pump and wash out the filter many times in the first week. Now on to the pool: It is wonderful. The liner is very thick and looks like it will hold up for multiple years. The frame legs are painted metal with composite/plastic joints. Once fit together it is stable and rigid. I am currently using the included pump, but will soon upgrade the pump for better filtration and cleaning. I clean the filter every three/four days right now and there is a lot to clean out of it. The included ladder is adequate for children. and smallish adults, but I will be upgrading it and adding a small platform for easier entry/exit. The pool is a great size for 6-7 adults to lounge comfortably. If you are looking for a pool that is easy to set up, yet large enough for a small group to enjoy it than this is perfect. ... show more

Overall this is a really nice above ground pool and once it is fully set up it looks great in the yard. The prism clearview design is actually one of my favorite parts because it gives the pool a more modern look and also feels safer since you can easily see into the water from outside the pool. The frame itself feels strong and sturdy once assembled and the pool comes with basically everything needed to get started. Most of the setup process was straightforward, although toward the end it definitely becomes more of a strength and tension battle getting everything fully locked into place. My biggest complaint is that I wish some of the connection parts felt more secure, especially around the filter tube area. I actually ended up using zip ties to help keep the filter hose attached because it kept slipping loose and felt like it needed a tighter seal onto the connection tube. Other than that, it has been a great family pool and feels durable overall. Good option if you want something sturdier than an inflatable pool without jumping straight into a permanent setup. ... show more

Intex continues to be a reliable choice for our family. We specifically chose this 16ft x 4ft Prism Frame model to downsize from a larger version, prioritizing safety for our young daughters. The standout feature is the Clearview window, having that extra visibility while the kids are swimming provides a sense of security that standard solid walls simply don't offer. Even with life jackets, that added line of sight brings a welcome sense of tranquility. While the weather hasn’t quite reached swimming temperatures yet, the initial unboxing was impressive. The packaging is organized and secure, ensuring all components arrived in top tier condition. Based on our history with the brand, the one-year warranty is a helpful starting point, but these pools typically last much longer with consistent maintenance and proper off season storage. One thing to keep in mind for installation is the footprint. Because of the round shape and the way the frame sits, we need to slightly extend our leveled ground area to ensure a perfectly balanced foundation. We are looking forward to the full setup in the coming months once the heat arrives. Overall, this pool offers a thoughtful design that balances summer fun with essential visibility.
