I’ll start by saying I know computers and electronics, having used both since the 80s. The device turns on and the app opens, but then you are directed to reset the device via the reset button. Okay, done. Next, connect to the hotspot the device creates so you can come back to the app, watch a how-to video, and configure your WiFi settings. This is where it falls apart. Yes, I see the hotspot, but after connecting I go back to the app and it will not progress past that screen. Sometimes the app then shuts down. Useless product. Waste of money. Waste of time. Wish I had tried to connect right away instead of getting outside of the return window before trying it. ... show more

Although I like the features of this camera such as automatically switching to night mode and back, It saves video in 640x480 and uses some weird .dat file extension. That is a deal-breaker for me. It displays the video nicely and is relatively easy to setup though. Returning

I have tried out many cameras looking for the right mix of features for my needs, and while there are great security cameras for both and night use, I found that only a handful of hidden cameras have good images for both day and night use, and often times the daytime images are still lacking. This button spy camera has exceptional daytime images compared to the many other hidden cameras I've tried. I have provided a few samples for comparison (all were taken from the same distance and location). While the button camera's images are not as good as those from security cameras I own, the button camera has better images than the other hidden/spy cameras I purchased. There is one big drawback of this button camera, and that is its inability to capture usable night time footage. There is insufficient infrared lighting, and thus it is almost impossible to distinguish anything in the nightime images. I hope this info is helpful for you. ... show more

I bought this toy camera as a gift for my sister's 5-year-old daughter. She enjoys it very much. It has a lot of funny picture templates and frames. It brings her a lot of fun. She uses it to take pictures and record videos. Since it doesn't come with an micro SD card, I'm thinking that it would be much better if it was provided with the camera. ... show more

    • Don’t stick it to a anything - not even with peelable scotch tape.
Everything is not as it should be - better options available. The camera should be five stars . However, when you are testing and setting it up but every move you get in the lens arm causes the picture to jitter or reboots: it works just enough that in 20 mins or so, you’ll probably have manipulated it just right that it’ll do a good job for now. But weeks later, after having the image or feed fail, finally tonight the cam just leaves it’s plastic body because it was dead! This product is not a good buy… the few minutes of use that i was able to get the cable to work properly it had high quality video, good color depth and definition. But as a hidden security or nanny cam, well would you trust it knowing whether you now know? Trust that it will power up, efficiently launch or sync what it needs to for best results. Now the cam and housing are together by on a very fine wire which will fail at a s u moment leaving me with 2 unnecesdary piles of lost dreams and safety.! ... show more

It was really small after receiving the camera, but it was enough for the children. This is a gift chosen by the child himself, and he likes it very much. There is also a lanyard in the box that can be used to hang the camera around your neck.
