  • Perfect above ground pool
Style: Grey Filter Pump Size: 10 ft x 30 in
I have bought several Intex above ground pools over the years. I absolutely love their pools the quality they last so long. This time I went with a 10 foot pool. It comes with a pool filter and pump super easy set up. I have tarps underneath the bottom of the pool so no weeds or anything. We’ll try to grow through there. You have to have the ground level and wrinkle free cause whatever’s on the ground you’re going feel it through the bottom of the pool. I actually had sand previously bought in and tamped to make the ground level. The set up was super easy. I highly recommend purchasing Intex above ground pools. They last at least five years or longer depending on where you live and how you take care of them. I live in South Florida so they get a lot of heat abuse but this time I have an HDPE tarp that I am going to put over a canopy so the pool has shade one so when I’m in there it’s not so hot, but also to keep the pool lasting longer. The sun here causes things to not last as long. But this pool is perfect. Just what I need for after work or on the weekends. I love being in the water and this is the best way to do that you’re going love this pool. The best part is it’s good wholesome family fun gets the kids out of the house off the video games plus it’s relaxing to just float around or hang out in the water. It just is something so special about it. ... show more

  • Fun pool and the seller is wonderfully helpful
Style: Grey Filter Pump Size: 10 ft x 30 in
We absolutely love this pool and have been having so much fun with it! I didn’t want anything big that would take up too much space in the yard and this fit perfectly where my son’s sandbox used to be. It’s easy to set up and is big enough to still have fun in. I’m 5’7 and it goes to my thighs. My son is 11 and it’s big enough for him to play in. We had an issue with the pump unfortunately but contacted the seller and they were quick to respond with a solution. They have been nothing but helpful! ... show more

  • Awesome value for the money.
Style: Grey Filter Pump Size: 12 ft x 30 in
This is a great pool for the price. The past three year I used the 10 ft east set with balloon top. Last year a pet popped the top and patches did not hold. This year I got the 12 ft metal frame pool. First, when you unpack all the parts to make sure you have everything, the leg poles are INSIDE the top rail poles. They are both in plastic bags and do not rattle when handling. I thought at first the legs for mine were missing. Second my pool had three pin holes, all underneath the strap that holds the legs in place. You have to drain the water back out to below the holes to patch from the inside. The patch kit that comes with the pool does NOT come with the cement to attach, but you can use PVC pipe cement if you have that already. The only other issue was these pools now come with an aerator to put bubbles in the water where the water goes back into the pool from the pump/filter. This fitting does not fit tightly. It is hard plastic and cone shaped. When you slide it over the fitting the included strap with the finger screw does not compress the hard plastic enough to hold it on tightly. If you are not careful the weight of the hose filled with water can pull it loose, or if bumped can come loose from the pool and pump you water onto the ground if not caught quickly. It is possible to pump almost half the water out since it will keep pumping until the water level is below the suction inlets. It can be removed since it's not a safety feature or you can use an automotive metal hose clamp the can compress it enough to hold but don't overtighten and crack it. One last thing, if placing pool on a concrete or cement pad or in my case driveway parking spot be sure to use a good thick ground cloth. I used a large tarp folded in half to make it thicker. My first pool got numerous pinholes on the bottom from sitting on bare cement. Other than these few issues it is a great bargain for only $100. But, be prepared to spend another $100 on all the needed accessories. Chlorine tablets, floating dispenser, pool shock for once a week, water testing strips, pool net and long handle, and either a vacuum hose system that attaches to the pump to clean the dirt and sediment off the bottom. I get the big stuff with the net and bought a batter operated AquaBroom to vacuum off the bottom. It works great and I love it. Can't stress enough the need to keep the pool chemicals in the right range of you will have problems. Unless you want to constantly drain and refill. Update. Been using the pool a couple of weeks now and we love ❤️ it. After about 3 days the pump started weakening to very little water output. I thought at first something was wrong with it. But it was not the pump the filter was clogged already. We let our dog swim in the pool too. The fine dander hair is what clogs up the filter, and the cover over the intakes really quickly. I now clean the inlet covers and the filter daily. I was it out with a string spray from the water hose and it is good as new. So if you too let your pets get in the pool be aware of the inlet cover and filter clogging quickly. Also use the airator. The bubbles help raise the PH of the water by realeasing carbon dioxide from the water. My ph was very low so I ordered soda ash. After running the pump with airator for 24 hours straight the ph level had already risen enough I had to use very little soda ash. ... show more

  • A solid pool for your family.
Style: Grey Filter Pump Size: 12 ft x 30 in
I've had this up a few days and so far, it's really great. The kid loves it, it was quick to assemble - round about 20 minutes - and fairly intuitive. The material looks strong and held up to the dog flopping in and her claws. The pump that came with it doesn't seem to want to work period but I'll be contacting Intex about that if not upgrading it to one that can actually handle the water flow of the pool properly. I didn't need a permit which someone else here stated they needed because I was taking it down at the end of summer, so make sure to check with your varying municipalities if you are buying this. Some may demand a permit and a fence. My patio isn't perfectly level, seems to be off an inch, from one side of the pool to the other but that doesn't seem to be affecting it yet but will keep an eye on it. Make sure to get a ladder, and a cover for it at the minimum, as well as something to keep the water clean. It took about a good 3-4 hours to fill with my garden hose, I'l probably b wincing at my water bill but by far, hands down, this has been a good investment for my family and no regrets getting it. The deduction of one star is for the pump and depending on how Intex deals with it, will determine whether it gets a 4 still or up to a 5. **UPDATE** July 1st, 2016 So we're in the middle of another season with this pool. I confess, I treated it badly after I took it down. Didn't bother to fold it, just took it, dumped water - I hooked a tiny hose up to the pool and got suction going and drained as much as I could before popping the drain open to let it drain out the last of it given where the pool was - and forgot about it. y son had decided to toss a few chlorine pucks in and bleached a section of the pool, there were a few small holes from hat I presume to be dog claws or just it not taking well to mistreatment while winter in Iowa set in. So come two weeks before memorial weekend, I got it out, turned it upside down on top of all my various garbage, recycling and leaf cans and sat under to get a good look for holes. I had some leftover vinyl from the patch kit, but the glue was horrible. So I just used some clear bathroom caulk and that solved the problem real well - Also, really good for the two spontaneous leaks I had between then and now. Plug the pool side, dry it off quick, smear with caulk, put on the patch, hold for thirty second and boom. Done. I did upgrade the pump to the 1,500 gallon pump because honestly, the pump that came with it just couldn't keep up with the needs of the pool. If you buy this pool, invest the 50 to 60 bucks more for the better pump and sell the one that came with this on craigslist or something. The hoses were bigger than the supplied ones but they make adaptors - much cheaper to buy those from intex directly! - and invested in valve stoppers too, to make changing/flushing the filters a lot easier. Also get the solar cover, but skip the plastic cover that "covers" the pool completely, the solar cover will do you well enough. All in all, I still love this pool. It still serves my son well and He's had a few parties in it this year. I would still give this 5/5 but I had to upgrade the pump and the accessories with it as well. Take care of this pool, and it's gonna do you for quite a while it would seem. Worthwhile investment. But still look into your city's restrictions to make sure whether you can put this up or not. In my city, so long as it didn't remain up all year round, you took it down in the fall, you didn't need a fence or any other restrictions. But call your city permit office to make sure! ... show more

  • great little pool
Style: Grey Filter Pump Size: 10 ft x 30 in
Couldnt be happier with this pool. The little pump filter keeps the water crystal clear. And the tough liner, with its tile pattern, hides alot of dirt that a solid color would show. Its like heaven to float in it on hot summer days.

  • Intex Has A Horrible Warranty
Style: Grey Filter Pump Size: 12 ft x 30 in
We bought this pool a couple weeks ago and just set it up as the heat has already started coming in. After spending hours prepping the area with TWO heavy duty tarps as well as leveling sand and setting up the pool we started to fill it and noticed some water coming from under the sides. We figured it was probably just the water that we had spilled out earlier when we turned on the hose but as we kept filling the water kept moving, slowly, but moving. As time went by we started to get worried so we turned off the water and started examining the pool for leaks. We found several small leaks (under 1 cm) all around the bottom of the pool when we examined it closely. They were barely noticeable but there nonetheless so we began the process of draining the pool. While my girlfriend was watching it drain I came inside and contacted Intex hoping they would be able to send us a new liner since this one clearly had way too many holes to patch them all. After giving them all of my information (which I'm sure they'll sell to some company or spam me) they told me that I would need to take off the liner and cut off large pieces of it to make it "inoperable" before they sent me a new liner. This blew my mind as not only did they expect me to go through extra effort to cut off these pieces but they wanted me to pay to ship them these pieces AND wait (probably) weeks to receive my new liner. I talked to my girlfriend about it and she agreed that it was ridiculous to have to go through all this when we could just return it to Amazon and buy another one. Now I know there's probably people in the world that scam their system and so they want to be sure you aren't "stealing" a back-up liner but this is just crazy. Not only did they expect me to pay even more money for something I already purchased and put together, but also disassemble it, do even more work, throw away the old liner (which will take up valuable trash space) and then wait for them to receive the items (hoping the post office didn't lose them) and then finally get a new liner which I'll again have to reassemble. I just can't wrap my mind around them thinking this is acceptable to do to customers but luckily Amazon made it right. Long story short Amazon handled the situation and now we're going to be buying a new brand (from Amazon again since they're great!). Overall I cannot recommend Intex but Amazon is definitely the place to buy a pool as they handled the situation wonderfully! ... show more

Really nice once filled. Setup was straightforward, and the frame feels sturdy and secure. The water level is holding well, and everything appears to be working as expected.
