  • LEVEL LEVEL LEVEL!!!
Size: 15' x 48"
We bought this pool being first time pool owners and knew this was going to be a learning curve for us. The biggest thing I can say is TAKE YOUR TIME AND LEVEL THE GROUND! we spent sooo much time trying to make it LEVEL and it still isn't perfect. If you're able to, I highly recommend finding someone with a bobcat or tractor to help level the pool surface. We did it by hand and have hours put into it and it's still decently off. The pool itself is great and works for my wife and I to float. I will say the ladder is very flimsy even for me being average build at around 190lbs. I would recommend looking into a better ladder if you plan on keeping it. Other than that I really can't complain about it for the price. It's been great the past couple months we've had it. Other than initial setup, just make sure to test weekly for chlorine and ph levels and keep those in check and it should be great. ... show more

  • Very Sturdy, Long lasting
Size: 15' x 48"
This is my second purchase! My first pool I had for 4 years and when I moved I decided to buy a new one. It's very easy to assemble. It is durable and lasts for years of fun! You can't beat it for the price.

  • Great value, but much better with some upgrades...
Size: 15' x 48"
The pool itself is fine. Seems sturdy enough to last a couple of seasons or so. The problem is the filter it comes with is weak and should be upgraded as soon as possible. I used the Intex 12" sand filter (and "B" hose adapters and plunger valves) and so far its working great and it's super easy to backwash and keep the media clean instead of constantly cleaning and replacing filter cartridges. The ladder this pool comes with is barely adequate but works...Its just a bit wobbly and adults may need to balance themselves getting in and out. Also make sure you have level ground. We used a 16x16 concrete slab with 8 sheets of foam insulation taped together for the base. This makes for a nice floor and no chance of moles or weeds damaging the bottom. There are youtube videos of the proper way to setup the pool and to help smooth out all of the wrinkles on the bottom. Ours turned out perfect plus we liked the pool so I ended up building a deck half way around it and purchased a deck mounted ladder which is a nice upgrade. I built the deck so that when this pool finally fails, I can easily remove it and replace it with another pool. Once the pool and deck were finished, I simply stacked paver bricks onto the pad to cover the insulation sheets and tarp. There was a pin hole leak in the side wall of the pool that was discovered after we filled it. A clear patch that was provided with the pool was used to cover the leak and it worked. Overall 4 stars out of the box. Don't forget your chlorine tabs & floater, test strips, and baking soda and muriatic acid for Ph balancing. Plus a skimmer net and vacuum head. Good luck! ... show more

  • Durable pool
Size: 15' x 48"
Got this Aug 2022 and also used 2023 no leaks e thing worked as described. Just get it leveled. Only thing even with 100 degree days water too cold no fault of the pool but really need heater options and solar no good unfortunately but pool frame and latter just find still. Pump works modestly well except did replace it first one burned out because we didn't purge it properly and air was in it a few seconds to long after we changed filter just make sure you purge all air out of it after filter change. ... show more

  • Family Fun!
Size: 15' x 48"
My family had one of these when I was young and now that I have my own daughter, I knew I had to get one for us. They've changed a little in the past 12 years but this is definitely the best "big purchase" I've all year! The only thing I don't like is the ladder - the one they used to come with had a platform at the top and now they don't. My concern is if someone were to slip, they will land right on railing of the pool (God forbid they already have one leg over to get in cuz....ouch...). It makes the ladder feel a little less stable without that platform, too. But the quality of the pool itself seems to be just as good as I remember - the last one held up for 10 years so I'm hoping I can get this one to last at least half that! The last one did get a few leaks over the years but they weren't hard to patch. It does take some time to set up and it is IMPERATIVE that its on level ground. Take my advice and don't just eyeball the ground and assume it's level. I learned that the hard way. Even with it empty, there is no real way to shift it easily without tearing it down and reassembling it. I do remember that it does take a few years (setting it up a few times) till you get the hang of it but once you've done it a few times and you know your ground is level, it's really not hard to put up. The pump isn't the greatest but I'm sure you can upgrade it if you'd like. It definitely suits the needs of my family and if you want something better than a kiddie pool but can't do a "real" pool, I recommend one of these 100%!! ... show more

  • Not worth it. What a disaster.
Size: 15' x 48"
DO NOT EVER BUY ONE OF THESE. Unless you have a professional do the ground prep, and even then I dont think it would work. We've been working on the ground for over 3 weeks now. We had to go 9" down on the high side, which of course we knew and we did. Had it on and filled all the way once (and found a hole in the side from packaging! How typical of you, Intex!), but had to drain it all b/c it wasn't sitting EXACTLY level. Have had it on and off, disassembled and reassembled, 3x since then. It is impossible to get all 15 separate feet to sit level and even then one or more can sink straight down after filling. We did not use sand as it is not recommended and increases the chance of sinking, tried concrete footers, but the feet just move wherever they want as it fills so it moved off of them, can't leave it up with minimal water in it to work on it b/c 10 mph wind (yes 10) blows it ALL OVER the place, it's difficult to drain to move it every time b/c if it has more than FIVE gallons of water in it it's too heavy to move (the drain hole is worthless unless u have 3+ inches in, which is 300+ gallons, so then we siphon until about 1/2 inch, which is still 52+ gallons, then we use a shop vac. Oh yes. Unless 2 people want to push it up from underneath to get the water into one section to siphon, which we've also done). It's been a NIGHTMARE, it is NOT WORTH IT AT ALL. Get a REAL pool and have a professional install it. ... show more
