Perfect for the little people (and big people too) in our life. A nice upgrade from the 10 ft. round from last year. It takes a little prep work to get the yard leveled, but after that it is fairly easy to maintain with a simple pool vac and the right chemicals. A water test kit is essential. I like the debris cover and use it in place of the solar cover. It essentially does pretty much the same thing anyway. The ladder is not as sturdy as we like for kids climbing in and out, but a small deck fixed that problem as we slide the back part of the ladder between the deck and the pool so it is braced. I also cut a pool noodle into six inch lengths, slit them lengthwise and fit them over the feet that go into the pool to add some cushion between the feet and the liner. We put a thick layer of cardboard under the ground sheet which helps with rocks that work their way up to the surface. Last year we could feel grains of sand poking into the pool bottom. The cardboard also helps to level the pool and provides cushion under the feet. Last year we had a lot of problem with algae turning the water green but being proactive at the beginning of pool season and using a good algaecide after set up and then on a maintenance schedule recommended by the manufacturer and using a good pool chlorinator has kept the water crystal clear. I purchased this pool for just myself , I'm 25 no kids around , but I work outside in Sunny south Florida doing lawn maintance so after a long day of work I've been dying for a relaxing float in the nice pool , but with the mortgage can't afford to put in a in ground pool , sooooo, so far so good ! I set it up on a cement slab I have off the patio so I didn't have to level the ground or worry about the lawn care around the pool , and it recommends to not use a extension cord and if I put it in the yard I would've had to use extension cord for power for sure , but it is on it's way to being filled up at the moment , ( using two hoses ) arrived with all the products listen , tarp , pool , pool cover , ladder , pump with filter and with all hoses . All you need to assemble is a Phillips screw driver , and a hair dryer to blow up the ring , Separate I purchased a skimmer and chlorine tablet floater , takes a little longer than 15 minutes for sure to get set up . You need to get everything pulled out , laid out , does come with books to follow directions and a video if your more visual like myself , overall so far great product . Didnt arrive damaged or torn . Very happy with the price even if it just last me the summer it's worth the $220 I spent totally with 15ft x 48 Intex pool purchase , skimmer , cholorie tablet float , a float for myself and a months worth of shock and cholorie tablets . So I did very well for myself price wise and hopefully once it is full everything works as good as it seems . ( I am on well water living out west in Fl so the water looks a bit yellow but the pool guy says once I get the shock in it will clear it up )Hope everyone gets good luck with their purchase and enjoys ! This is a great little pool that is easy to set up and easy to fill. The pool material is a durable PVC. It comes with ladder (not assembled), filter pump with first filter, ground cloth, pool cover, and all tubing and connectors. The instruction manuals have clear instructions. I also purchased the INTEX saltwater system that converts salt water to chlorine. There are two choices when selecting saltwater system, the ECO8110 for $175.00 or the ECO7110 for $125.00. The difference is the amount of run time per day, say 4 hours versus 6 hours per day. If you want to research before you buy, google " intex 86po manual" for a pdf of the pool instructions and "intex 260po manual" for a pdf of the saltwater system. There are a few small dollar items to buy after filling with water such as salt, chemical, and filters. For a clean and easy to maintain pool system for a little over $500.00, I am very pleased. ... show more

Do not buy this pool unless your ground is level. It cannot be off by an inch or you will have problems and the pool will not do what we are told it does. They say you dont need any tools. So Mr Red Rocks how was I suppose to dig a 1/4 inches in the ground with my hands? Easy Set Up Pool is wrong it should be Not Easy Set Up Pool., I Contacted Red Rocks Distributers and they will not give me a refund because its over one month. I did not take it out of the box until a week and a half ago. I set the pool up to the directions (even checked out You Tube)and every time (3) it has 10 inches in it and it turns from a round pool to a football shape pool and the water runs out. I am a retire woman and I paid over $700 for this pool. $700 dollars of my hard owned pay. I was told its over the 1 month can't get your money back . This is not good customer service. I will be contacting the owner of Red Rocks and Amazon about this. I am not a happy customer. I kept wasting my time moving the pool so it wouldn't lose water. Look at the picures. Simply set up on even ground and your good to go in 2 hrs. Dont believe this. FYI contacted Red Rocks they could care less about you. You think they are a big company they are not. Its like buying a pool on ebay. Something I never would jhave done. A big ticket item never. Only want to buy from a reputable company. Your taking your chances with this so called company!!!! Anazon wasnt any better no help from them. Mr Red Rocks got my $739 dollars and ran! DISGUSTED! ... show more

    • Not easy set up
This is not easy to set up. Took a whole day. The ladder that came with it is awful. Had to buy another ladder that was more sturdy. If you are overweight you will not be able to use the ladder. I am 4ft9in and 157 lb and I had a hard time using the ladder. The pool itself is Okay but not the best. Just have to be careful not to lean over the sides. It's not the best in the world but it is good for cooling off in the hot summer days. If you can I would recommend buying a higher quality pool in you can afford it. ... show more
