Quite possibly the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! I was a little concerned about buying shoes online, because, obviously, one can't try them on, but this worked out well. I wear an 8 in some shoes, 8.5 in others, depending on the manufacturer. These shoes where sized 8-8.5, so I decided that at this low price, I couldn't really go wrong. Good choice! These shoes are wonderful. They arrived in two days. They came in their own little carry bag, which was a nice touch. I bought them for my Tai Chi class, and I haven't had them long enough to report on things like the elastic or the stitching, but if these shoes last through the semester, I will buy another pair for daily wear. I love them. The soles appear to be quite thick, and sturdy, and the elastic they used for the side/top inserts is nice and wide. If you need arch support or have over-pronation or under-pronation, and are planning to wear these for an extended period of time, you might want to slip your favorite insoles into them. I'm still waiting to hear back from the seller concerning washing them--but I am ASSUMING that they are like typical canvas "boat shoes", and are washable, and can be dried either by stuffing them with wash cloths and air drying, or drying them in a dryer on the "cool" setting. I have in the past successfully washed canvas boat shoes that way. With any luck, the seller can provide confirmation they are washable. I am already planning to buy another pair or two, and a friend who tried them on is planning on buying them as well. At this price, you really can't go far wrong. If they last as long as typical Wal-Mart cheapo sneakers, then I'll get 6-8 months' wear out of them, and have happy feet the whole time. ... show more

The quality is top notch! The problem is the measurement. Yes they do fit! However there is zero stretch room to fit your foot. If they can get that this shoe crew could make happiness!

I have a rule that I need to have a comfortable bed and comfortable shoes; due to spending a 1/3 of our lives sleeping and half the waking hours on our feet. These shoes are very simple and extremely comfortable. I tend to worry about shoes that I can't tie being too loose, but the elasticity of the material used is excellent. I have wide feet and generally need to buy a size larger than normal to avoid losing circulation. These shoes hold on to my feet with enough pressure to not slide off but not so much that I lose circulation. The first time putting them on was tricky because the packaging had them totally flat, which also means that I can pack them for a trip without having to worry about taking too much space with shoes. Since that first event, the shoes are very easy to put on, however I can't just slide my foot in though. That's not a problem for me, but other people who are either mobility impaired or just plain lazy might get upset with the need to pull the backing around their heel. I'll probably wear these out fast since I've been wearing them whenever I'm not wearing dress shoes for work; but I'll just come back and order more. They were an exact fit too, which I've never managed to pull off when ordering online. Probably helps that the material has some elasticity and should fit a few different foot sizes. ... show more

These shoes just didn't fit well. My toe came all the way to the end of the shoe, but the shoe was too wide and without that support around the foot, it put all the pressure on my large toe. I don't normally need a narrow shoe. Found a better fit in a different brand.
