This is my second one. The first lasted four years through all four seasons but didn't survive this last winter. For the price, that was impressive and I was happily surprised, so I purchased again. This one, through no fault of the product per se, didn't quite make it through the summer (My 80lb dog jumped off the deck onto the covered pool). It was working perfectly until then and, even with that trauma, only obtained two small paw-sized holes. I am still using it with the holes this summer and it has not further ripped but probably won't survive the winter. For the price, I will buy a third one for next year.

It's not a real bad cover just not very sturdy feeling plus it's got holes in the middle and around the edge. They are about 3/4 of an inch in dia. It wasn't exactly what I was looking for because of the holes but it will work for now. I wouldn't buy it again if I needed to replace it. UPDATE: This cover is actually a really good cover. It sturdier than I thought. I covered the holes with a vinyl type tap. It keeps the water at a perfect temp and helps with not having to clean it as often as before. It is also very easy to use.

This is a great cover that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Every single complaint listed in these reviews comes back to people being unrealistic about the type of pool they have to begin with. These are not top of the line pools. More like bottom of the line. Still, they are fine for the basic, starter pools that they are. This cover is not going to last you forever, and neither are these pools. This cover will keep garbage out of your pool, will keep chemicals and water from evaporating at night, and will heat your pool as well in direct sunlight. I live in Oregon and likely set my pool up too early as it’s been raining for the last couple weeks. I take the cover off and put it back on a couple times a day to drain the water that accumulates from the rain. So far so good. I just have to make sure the top of the pool is fully inflated so the cover fits properly.

I didn't realize I was ordering a used product. Don't get me wrong I've ordered pre-owned or used products before and never had an issue. But this one was clearly used where others things you couldn't even tell. This came in a poorly retaped box and upon removal it was very dirty. I thought oh well it's used then I notice that it was also ripped near where the rope comes out. Was going to return but it was more of a hassle then I wanted to deal with. But for the price I paid I could have went and bought a new one and not had these issues. I'm making it work since there isn't a lot of time before the pool comes down for the season but was pretty disappointed. Giving 3 stars since I didn't realize it was pre-owned when I ordered but if I had realized that I would give it less stars.

This is our second cover just like this in 3 years. We only had to buy another one due to our own mishandling. If you care for this cover it will last forever. It also keeps the heat in the pool so it’s great for colder climate areas. Great product all around

Will not keep out debris. Intex changed product and put in a lot of holes they call drain holes. Product used to have 4 holes in perimeter of cover now is covered in holes in the center that do nothing but fill cover with pool water and let in debris. TERRIBLE!!! Very unclear product description and pictures and will never buy again unless they sell original cover. They need to show better pictures and discription of holes in the future. I purchased cover three or four times in the past several years on Amizon and they worked excellent for keeping out debris. I'm very disipointed in having to try a alternitive company's pool cover. What use is a pool cover that does not keep your pool clean. Sad
