These pool hoses are a consumable in the end, but this hose attached properly to the discharge port of the filter and connected to the valve that leads to the pool jets just fine, no issues. Didn't even need to redo the teflon tape the last hose needed to avoid leakage, so it's got that going for it, too. And now that one hose is replaced, I've got a spare should it or the inlet side of the filter pump spring a leak.
