I bought this in March 2024 and have used it almost daily. There was a strong plastic-rubber smell at first, but it was easily removed by putting vinegar in an 8-oz ramekin and "cooking" it in the AF at 250 for 20 minutes. I did this twice on the back porch. I've used every setting so far but the roast setting, and everything has turned out great! One of my favorite ways to use it is to "hard boil" eggs ... NO WATER! I put 6 eggs in the basket and cook at 270 for 16 minutes. When the timer goes off, I put the eggs in ice water for two minutes. They easily peel and I have boiled eggs all week for avocado toast, salads, deviled eggs, or a quick snack. I have a small kitchen, so real estate is valuable. This slim style fits perfectly in my baking station area. The basket is rectangular and deep. It's like putting two 3-qt baskets end to end. It works GREAT for bacon and pork tenderloin without having to cut. So far, so good...... I recommend 👍

Had a little issue with mine & Instant Brands took ownership & made everything 100% right! For smell; Heat it up a couple times on high for about an hour. That did pretty well there was still a little smell while cooking but NOT on the food! NEXT; I put water in over the grate a couple drops of dish soap, heated it again, on high for an hour. NEXT; I pulled out the drawer & put it & the unit in front of a box fan all night. There was NEVER any taste or smell on the food & the wings are wonderful!!! Everything even hamburger is great! Just remember to flip(hamburgers esp.), there's a alert when it's time to flip but I'm old & don't hear to well so I set a timer on my phone. Unit is solid! I tried a couple others & needed 2 hands to close, not with this! Everything fits SO well! I don't have much counter space so this unit is great for that & I leave the drawer open a bit when not cooking. I'll buy again from these people for sure!

I didn't know I needed an air fryer, but with only two people at home, it seemed wasteful to turn on a gas oven all the time for small amounts of food that cook quicker than it takes to preheat the oven. I was afraid of it taking up too much room, but this slim model is plenty big enough in a narrower package. I have been learning how to prepare main courses as well as freezer foods. I cook chicken breasts, fish fillets, schnitzel, fried potatoes from scratch without making a mess with splattering grease and they turn out great. Very happy.

This is a quieter air fryer, and is large enough for a whole chicken. It has quiet beeps that alert when the air fryer has warmed up to the set temperature, when it is time to turn the food, and when the air fryer has finished cooking.

We had it for a couple of months. I made food with it after the factory-recommended setup. Terrible, horrible, nauseating, sickening burning plastic stink every time it is turned on. There are some Utube suggestions to fix the stink, such as washing it and running the airfry function @ 400 degrees for 60 minutes. We did this repeatedly at the cost of making everybody feel nauseous. The stink is still with us. We are considering simply giving up, and throwing it into the garbage where it most likely belongs.

I love it. I had the small 2 quart one and it just wasn't big enough. This is almost double the size and it's much deeper. it works much better. it actually Cooks a little bit faster, I like it a lot. It does take up quite a bit more counter space but I rarely ever use my oven it's super easy to use would highly recommend

I LOVE my Air Fryer. I hardly ever use my oven now, EVERYTHING goes into the AIR FRYER! NO GREASE...eating healthier, down time is minimal 5-10min's max. I don't eat out anymore SO MUCH EASIER to come home and throw my food in the Air Fryer, set the timer and it takes care of the rest! VERY easy to clean and maintain. I would HIGLY recommend this product...GAME CHANGER 4 REAL!
