This unit really helped me step up my game on my smoker. Often I have or 4 items smoking at onve, and having 4 probes helps tremendously. The fact I can check temps and not get up until it's time for me to moisten or wrap makes being able to work and cook at the same time: PROS: Ok, surprisingly this has been very accurate. I checked it against 2 other probes I have and this has been dead on. The interface is easy to read. The alarms and options or combined option of setting a timer as well as maximum temperature per probe really helps with cooking different pieces of meat to different temps. The fact that if I need to run out for something at the store I can monitor things right from my phone. Awesome! Battery life is also very good. I have done 16 hour smokes and the unit is able to handle this length of time with power to spare. CONS: Very few. the phone app isn't terribly difficult, but takes a minute to get used to. Read the instructions and things will be fine. One thing to note is to ensure you plug the 1/8 mini end of the temp probe into the display completely. If not you can get either no or a weak signal and not get accurate data. OVERALL: Well worth the buy. Between this and my hand probe, I am very satisfied.

I've used a few inkbird products before and was hesitant about this one because of the price but once using it, I've noticed a few upgrades from their older models. Something simple but needed, the magnet on the back is stronger. The app is also easy to use and install - I installed and connected without the instructions. The app is awesome, btw, I can connect several units to it. In previous thermometers this wasn't possible. I like that the probes are color coded and that the unit itself just feels solid and sturdy. I really didn't have any long smokes to try it out this weekend but I was a bit anxious to use it so I tested all 4 probes in ice water and in boiling water. I was glad that all 4 probes were consistent and marked the same temp - no variance. I also decided to cook up a fast meal for family and some guests and decided to use the probes to figure out cold and hot spots on my grill. This was over kill probably. I could've done the biscuit test but why not? Overall, very good impression so far.

The Inkbird IBBQ-4T is awesome! I have put this thermometer through it’s paces since I received it, and it has performed flawlessly. The app to control the thermometer was easy to install and use. The thermometer and app on my phone paired up quickly with no issues. I like having the 4 probes to keep track of different meats on the smoker. The probes read very accurately when checked with other instant read meat thermometers. I enjoy being able to check the temps of what I have on the smoker, not only anywhere on the property, but also anywhere else I need to go thanks to the Smart WiFi technology. Not only do I not have to walk down to the smoker to check it, but I don’t even have to be home. The graphs for each probe are a nice visual to help keep track of temperature progression. The ability to set a temp alarm to let you know when your food is done is also a great feature. I highly recommend the IBBQ-4T to anyone. I mainly use it on my smoker, but it would be perfect for several other cooking applications like the oven or grill.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve had this thermometer for a bit over a year, and it has worked fairly well. The app needs some work, it’s just not user friendly and takes some time for updated temps to come through via Bluetooth. However, it does work as advertised and honestly, I don’t expect a ton out of a thermometer. Wish it had a “minimum temp” alarm in addition to the “max temp” alarm. Magnetic backing feature is nice, until your thermometer inadvertently sticks to your very hot smoker without you noticing…and no, it is not heat proof in the slightest. Despite the plastic all but melting away, it somehow still works (barely) so that must be a testament to the durability of the product. Overall, good buy for my first higher-end thermometer

This thermometer is very accurate and has a simple layout. If you have an issue connecting to WiFi through the InkBird Pro app then download the InkBird Plus app instead. It connected right away with the Plus app. Once connected it gives me my locations weather, sunrise/sunset, and locations ambient temperature. The InkBird thermometer is well made. The probes worked perfectly and were within 1 degrees of my quick read ThermoPro. I have 6 other InkBird products that I use for my saltwater and freshwater tanks, and this is my second grill thermometer. They all work flawlessly. The customer service is top notch as well. You can’t go wrong with InkBird!!

Worked OKAY for a while but now 2 of the probes are dead; 1 - 1 probe doesnt even get acknowledged by the unit anymore 2 - 1 probe shows a constant 140 degree temp even just laying on the counter There was an issue from day 1 however; The app is terrible.....if you want to use this as a wifi monitor as you should since thats the point, the temps dont live update, you have to keep opening and refreshing the page or closing and re-opening the app to get up to the minute temps. This becomes a problem as your meats gets close to their finishing temps when an extra minute by mistake can ruin your fish Wont be buying this again once the last probes eventually fail

This is a game changer for anyone who has a busy life but still wants to use a smoker. The WiFi capability allows you to work, run errands, and do other things while keeping an eye on temps. Arrived on time, set up was very simple. I really like the covers on the ports. This eliminates any dirt or water from getting in while in use outside. The probes have an option to calibrate (I have not done yet). Overall this is a good product for the price.
