INFRATECH WD-SERIES DUAL ELEMENT STAINLESS STEEL OUTDOOR HEATERS Double the warmth with Infratech's WD-Series heaters. This high powered unit features dual element, to provide a more concentrated heat. This makes the WD-Series an ideal choice for recessed installation, premium outdoor heating applications, and spaces with 7' to 9' mounting heights and large scale coverage areas. Infratech is 90% energy efficient, UL listed for outdoor and indoor use and are easy and inexpensive to operate. This heater is ideal for use in fine homes, restaurants, hotels and more. How Infratech Works? - Heated quartz elements emit a safe, clean wavelength of light that is only absorbed by solid objects, transferring heat directly to a person, table or floor rather than heating the air. - Infrared heat doesn't 'blow away', making it ideal for breezy areas where air cannot be contained. - Medium wave quartz elements operate with no harsh glare or odors. Lasting Energy, Efficiency and Value - Easy installation requires a lower capital expense and minimal labor. - Infrared heaters require no refillable gas tanks and very little maintenance. - They are 90% energy efficient and provide energy savings over time. Note: Infratech Comfort heating products are NOT "plug in" heaters. They must be installed and "hard wired" by a licensed electrician based on the specific power requirements of the product and will often require a dedicated circuit and the appropriate power at the point of installation. 82 inside and 43 outside now. I built a double wall solarium. I also have lots of gaps that have not been sealed yet too! Also my roof is a single wall pvc sheeting cheapo stuff from a hardware store. They are hung about 8’ high and if you stand directly under them it will be burn your head. When the wind kicks up I can feel drafts and it get cold fast when I shut them off. An insulated roof and sealed gaps I can certainly see these keeping the temps in the 70’s year round with minimal energy output. Im in Vancouver Wa. /Portland metro. It’s like the heaters at the airports when you are waiting outside. I suggest using adjusta Height chains to hang. It’s an easier install and you can raise and lower them if you want to fry some eggs. these crank out some serious heat. I Highly recommend. Need to run 220 to each. ... show more

I can say i'm disappointed in this product. I didn't know how hot this thing was going to be, but for the price I thought it would be hotter than my neighbors heater that he bought at Northern tool for less than $100 dollars. Sure his is shorter in length, but still puts out more heat. I will say they are good looking, but be aware these have to be mounted flush. If I would have known that, I probably would not have bought 2 of these. My patio roof line slopes so I cant flush mount them to make them look sleek. Disappointed! ... show more

put two in an outdoor kitchen, dining area with only one wall. worked perfect this summer to take the edge off of cool evenings. we put up plastic walls to protect for the winter. these heaters are amazing. can bring the temp up 30 degrees in no time. would definitely recommend.

Our electrician put two of these up on our patio. They are wonderful. They hear up quickly and make sitting outside so comfortable. The heat is not effected by a breeze so they are good in all types of weather. They are a fabulous addition to our back yard.
