Having been used consistently for two weeks. Then it completely burned out. For the amount it cost in the first place, I would expect more longevity out of it than that. Pretty disappointed with this purchase. If you’re wanting something you just use for a couple hours every now and then, it worked well for a small space & was easy to install. But if you want something that you use often that will last, look elsewhere.

I recently picked up this outdoor heater to keep my enclosed porch somewhat warm in the winter, and it’s been a great choice. The slim design fits nicely in the corner without taking up too much space, and it actually looks pretty good. The three heat settings make it easy to adjust the temperature, and I usually use the Eco mode, which helps save energy while keeping the space somewhat warm. The 70° oscillation spreads the heat evenly across the porch, and it’s really quiet, which I love—it doesn’t interrupt conversations. The remote control is super handy, so I can tweak the settings without having to get up. Overall, it’s made my porch a usable space in the winter on all but the coldest days. Definitely recommend it!

Keep in mind this is radiant heat which means he heat is direct and will heat the space and items directly in front or near it. It did not work out well for me as I was trying to heat my entire garage space. I decided to move on to a forced air unit and it was much better. So be cognizant of what you buying and its capabilities.

Sadly, this unit worked really well for about 70 days. Then when I went to turn it on today, the filament just broke. Less than 90 days old 100 bucks and it’s trash. Pick another brand because the warranty is 30 days you get 65 days a use and you spend 100 bucks find something else. I’m so frustrated with buying things from Amazon and them lasting till just beyond the warranty, just be on the return window, and they just fail. I mean, I just turned this unit on. It’s protected from the elements. It’s mounted to the wall. It’s never been banged. It’s never been abused. It just failed. Find another brand

I got this heater for an outdoor patio to be able to use it more year-round. I really love this type of infrared heat as it really feels like it has penetrating heat instead of just warming and drying the air like a traditional fan forced air heaters. That being said, you do have to point it in the direction of what you want to keep warm. It's really best if it is mounted high and pointed down to where people will be. It can get very hot if you try and sit next to it. Because I'm not trying to heat an extremely large patio, I love the compact design. It isn't overly large or obnoxious but still does a great job of heating the space. I appreciate having the remote and also the timer. As with all my heaters, I set a timer every time so I don't have the fright of wondering whether I forgot to turn it off. I can always restart a second session if needed. The only thing I don't like is the cord is a little short, since it really should be mounted high and the instructions say not to use an extension cord. This really creates an issue for patios that might not have external outlets.
