Bought this for my Mother-in-law and Aunt-in-law. who live in Oklahoma. Installed it on the back porch. They have 4 little dogs; so lots of potty trips in the cold. Very effective. Heats up almost instantly. They routinely tell me how much they love it.

I agree with some of the other reviewers that this is a nice little heater that gives off a good amount of warmth. However, you really do need to be pretty close to it to feel it. We hung it on our patio above a sofa and while we can feel a *tiny* bit of heat, it's not quite enough to actually warm us up. Perhaps it is too high from where we are trying to heat. We tried it on a 50 degree night and felt we still needed to be bundled up with blankets. I will say it was definitely better than nothing and perhaps with another 1 or 2 of them we would get the warmth we need but not sure it does what I was looking for it to do and I don't think we'd feel much if it's any colder than 50 degrees or so.

I suppose it’s a good item for extremely small areas. I mean very small. I had a 50sq ft cordoned area outside and hung this up 6ft high and I could barely feel any heat.

I recently purchased this infrared heater and have been very pleased with its performance. Even in California, where temperatures can get quite chilly, this heater has significantly increased my comfort level when outdoors. It efficiently keeps the area warm and helps save on heating costs. The compact design doesn’t take up much space, making it perfect for my needs. Additionally, it’s extremely convenient to use. With the remote control, I can easily operate it from anywhere, making it hassle-free. I'm also planning to take it to Utah for my skiing trip. It's easy to carry and can quickly provide warmth outdoors, allowing me to relax comfortably after a day on the slopes.

Heater seems ok - ordered two but only one remote worked - contacted Amazon about just sending a replacement remote - sent two replacement heaters instead - the replacements were clearly returns that appear to have been stored outside the warehouse and abused in shipping - neither of those remotes worked either. Finally got this returned - contacted seller about replacement remote - was told I would receive a replacement eventually but would take some time. Like I said - heaters seem ok - but I would probably go a different direction.

This heater has been a game-changer for my work-from-home setup. With three dogs (including a very vocal lab mix), background noise is a constant challenge during my meetings. After testing different spots, the only noise-free area was our attached garage. However, even with partial heating, temperatures in winter can drop to 40°F or lower here in Illinois. I mounted this heater on the wall about 4 feet from my desk, and it works wonderfully. Despite my tendency to get cold easily, I’ve only needed a light sweater during work hours, even when temperatures dipped into the low teens with harsh winds. Settings on power level 6 or 7 are more than enough to keep my workspace comfortably warm. What I love most is that this heater focuses warmth exactly where you need it, rather than trying to heat the entire garage, saving energy and making it much more efficient. It’s reliable, consistent, and easy to use. My only regret is not discovering it sooner! Highly recommended for anyone who needs focused, reliable heating in a cold workspace.
