Just put in an inflatable spa and didn't' want to use chlorine so I chose Bromine because I didn't want the heavy chlorine smell and irritation to my skin. So far this is working well and I have used several of these chemicals getting my Spa water to correct levels. Pretty easy to use and everything I needed to get my water levels correct. I haven't use other brands so I have known idea how it compares to others but so far I like this brand and the starter kit was reasonably priced and delivered quickly. I would recommend this starter kit to other who don't want the chlorine smell or have sensitive skin like me. I have been in my Spa several times and didn't rinse after and have been fine with no skin irritations. That's Great ... show more

This is my first hot tub and first experience with using these types of chemicals... And it was stressful! There are instructions but they are not super detailed and clear regarding usage of the products- I had to supplement with tons of YouTube videos. My first batch already used up almost a 1/3 of the bromine.. so as I was hoping this would last me awhile (as it wasn't cheap), it doesn't seem like it will. It was a time-consuming experience but I am happy I started with this kit and will move on from here. ... show more

Size: Bromine Hot Tub Starter Kit
I bought this as a startup for my new SPA. The Bromide tablet bottle was about 5/8ths full with only 12 tablets in it, I used 6 in the "floater". There was no cover "seal" on the top of the tablet bottle, by the way. The same with the Bromide Booster granules, it was 1/2 empty with no seal. All the rest of the bottles had "seals". If the two I mentioned were supposed to have a seal, then someone emptied some out before it was shipped. Of course these were the two I needed most to get the water ready. UPDATE! The company contacted me and offered to replace them all, THANKS! ... show more

Revised company wants to take care of there customers so I have to say great company just be aware of what you are buying!!! Worst starter kit... test strip kit writing is so small can't even read and the products you get you can't even balance your tub
