This stuff works! makes life easy and water clear and clean. I don't smell anything, but my pool is outdoor and not indoor so there's that. I say this is quality stuff for sure. Granted i still needed some clorox for pool and spa and some muriatic acid and some baking soda to level things out. But after things are within range, and this is dissolved, separately, just dump it right into the filter stream and let it go. After 4 hr for my little 800 gal pool, it's clear and purrfect to play in!

Cleans water great, read instructions and use it at night. (If you have any above ground pool, use it in two separate sessions to avoid damaging the plastic of the pool) Makes sure you have your sand filter running for 8 hours while cleaning it with the powder. It is super easy to use. But please be careful and read your Ph Levels. Wait 12 hours after usage to be able to use the pool.

We have a backyard diving pool and use two bags per week. Changed to this brand and pool is now sparkly! For the first use, I added bag to a bucket of pool water to pre-dissolve the powder but that was a lot of hassle--these don't dissolve right away. The next time I simply poured it into the pool and then brushed it around. Everything had dissolved by the next morning. So much cheaper than Leslies!
