We’ve had a hot tub for about five years — one of the big ones, sits eight, deep enough for my wife to do calisthenics and aerobics. Until COVID, we were using traditional powdered chlorine, but prices went up, and I decided to try something different. Enter Clorox Pool&Spa XTRABLUE 3” Chlorinating Tablets. Here’s how we use it: • Put a tablet in a floating dispenser, set to the lowest setting • One tablet lasts 2–3 weeks in the hot tub • We remove it when needed, stretching the tablet to last a month or more Since switching, the water has stayed crystal clear — we haven’t changed any other chemicals except maybe the filters. Honestly, I’d estimate at least 50–75% of the improved clarity comes from this product alone. If you want easier, longer-lasting sanitation without constantly fussing with powder, this is a simple, effective solution. I’ve been using the Clorox Pool & Spa XtraBlue Chlorinating Tablets for a while now, and I’m very satisfied with the results. These are truly the best chlorine tabs I've ever used 25 years! But in the last two deliveries, the wrapped tabs were all broken up within the wrappers. The wrappers were slightly opened so there was dust everywhere when adding to the chlorinator, and small pieces dissolve too quickly.

Clorox pool tablets perform fine. Made in USA not China. Rated by the EPA . Watch what you buy on Amazon. Pool tablets made in China don’t meet the EPA standards. I only buy pool tablets made in USA. Will buy again on Amazon. I bought these chlorine tablets and use them.
