Right off the bat this thing could hold tons of 3” chorine tabs. And it is easy to use the lid, although it seems pretty cheap, might break later on. One of the two units looks like it had an impact fracture on the top rim of the unit. Seems to work okay so I decided not to bother trying to get a replacement. I like the collapsing style...first one like this. We will see if they can last a season before rotting away like the previous ones I have bought for cheaper. Plastic is extremely thin and brittle so I have low hopes for longevity. ... show more

Size: Pop-Up Refill Indicator Dispenser
This floater works good. Only hold 3 3"tabs and the lid will stay on. Openings are very small and it takes a couple of weeks for the chlorine to dissolve, much slower than other floaters. Notification of empty contents is a plus, it apparently does not give false signals or readings; a good thing!

I bought this chlorine dispenser 14 months ago and it is still in great condition. Some of them don't last very long in the Arizona sun, but this one is doing well.

We have a swim spa and this is the perfect size. However, the sun takes it toll on plastics. Therefore, this is the second time ordering this one.

    • Cheap, but falls apart in 1.5 years

Purchased first one in May 2022. Low cost, BUT.... low quality thin plastic, lid never stayed on well. Cheap enough that I bought a 2nd one in June of 2023 despite the low quality. Started to chemically degrade in Aug 2023 (lid began to crumble). Probably a combination of UV light from the sun and chlorine. Bottom literally fell out in Dec 2023. Summary -- cheap, but it won't last more than 18 months or so. Should I have spent $3 more and got one with better plastic material? I will the next time. 3 stars overall - cheap but low quality. ... show more
