  • holds 24 eggs works great
holds 24 eggs (chickens) 12 in each basket holds temp and humidity perfectly i had a 100% hatch rate from my flock so i say thats a win.. the quality is good and its the perfect side for schools, homes etc. excellent for the price way better than my farm innovator and little giant ..this one is very close to pro cabinets and i highly recommend it for great hatches on a affordable scale.. ... show more

  • Adorable
30 day review... Pros: 100% hatch rate after 27 days (ducklings.) Temp and humidity match 2nd monitor. Egg turner works Fits 16 duck eggs as advertised. Small footprint, about the size of a toaster oven. Cons: The door is poorly affixed and comes off a lot. I see duct tape in its future. I didn't hook up a water bottle but used the base as a water tray refilling it twice a day. Humidity always around 60% or higher, never 50% as the manual states. The temp alarm goes off every time the eggs are taken out for cool down. The baskets are small for hatching. Ducks barely fix, I can't imagine gosling. Have a brooder ready. ... show more

  • Fun incubator
Love that I can separate hatches. Easy to use and has alarm for temperature. 100% of fertile eggs hatched. I wish it held more than 16 chicken eggs at a time. Will be buying another in the spring.

  • Great incubator
It works well, hatched a few Coturnix quail. I bought 2 so I can have one for the first 14 days and the other set for lock down /hatch day (Higher humity). You should also use a separate Hygrometer/Thermometer to compare. Both the temps were right but humidity was off 4%. Turners turned every 2 hours. For Quail you have to program it for that. Just read the instructions. They are very helpful. Only thing I would like, for my needs, I wish the basket had a cover basket to stop jumpers, Quail are so small they can fall down the small space between the viewing window and baskets. Falling down to the lower basket or floor of the incubator. Next time I will make something to stop that from happening. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. ... show more

  • great cabinet style incubator, works well,
recently hatched 42 bobwhite quail with this machine out of 60 eggs. , 23 days incubation. hatch rate percentage of 70%, 10 were infertile, so in reality 84% of the fertile eggs hatched. Construction appears a little thin, but works well and maintains temp and humidity well. egg turner works well. water tube may kink so be careful to check if there is a bend. very happy with the result and Price was very economical ... show more

  • Decent concept, but needs help.
So I bought this because I wanted a small cabinet style and my mom gave me eggs to incubate but incomplete incubators. It's cute with a small footprint, I set it up with my sensors so I could see where the heat is and what temp adjustments I would need to make. Well, the temp wasn't going above 80 on the lower shelf with the temp set at 120. When I was trying to troubleshoot, I discovered the fan wasn't moving. I took a small screw driver to try and spin it and it started for a couple minutes before stopping. Reached out to the company and they sent a replacement which arrived yesterday and it also has a fan issue. The first one I was able to get the fan to keep running, but I'm constantly checking it. I like the compact design, so I think I'm just going to get a replacement fan for the unit. I haven't figured out the wifi it says it has and the instructions mentioned it as optional, just curious on what it does. If you can't figure out the lights, one click turns on/off the internal light, hold for 5 secs to turn on/off the candling light. The instructions for the unit aren't too complicated to understand, but it's not something you can just glance at or speed read through. Notes: with the fan working the temp and humidity sensor reads accurate. The temp reads the top shelf, so when programming adjust the temp to the second one but don't exceed the safe range on the top shelf for your eggs, mine is about .7 difference between the shelves. If the fans worked right away, I would've given 5 stars. ... show more

  • Not worth your money
This product is absolute JUNK!!!! Temps displayed on the front are incorrect. I tried to hatch 3 clutches of eggs and not one hatched. In the 10yrs I've been rasing chickens I have never had this happen. What sucks even worse is that I could not return or exchange this item. this product would get zero stars if possible. ... show more

  • Attractive, good for the price, user friendly,
3 stars due to issues with humidity which I will elaborate on. Did a lot of shopping around when looking for an incubator, the cabinet style is very attractive as it makes it easier to access the eggs rather than having them stacked on-top of each other in a box style incubator. Love that the roller pins directly into a motor that is built into the incubator, don’t have to think about wires and etc. the viewing window through the styrofoam is nice too. Clear instructions and explains the different modes and ability to adjust a variety of settings. Screen is easy to use and easy on the eye. Candler wasn’t great and won’t be using that. The issue with this incubator is the humidity. It has been advertised as capable of being adjusted and that simply isn’t the case. The humidity goes WAY high!! No matter how low you set it, you cannot just leave the bottle of water attached to the machine, you’ll drown your embryos. Also there are not many options for vents so makes the dry hatch method difficult. I poked holes in the top of an aluminum Altoids container and filled it with water and placed it in there and occasionally spray water on the inside of the door to keep the humidity where it should be. By learning how this things functions and playing with the settings, you can turn it into a working partner, but I really wish you could just hook the bottle of water to it, set your humidity and walk away. ... show more
