I like the construction. The product seems more durable and was easier to clean than a styrofoam incubator. There are no mechanical parts in the bottom tray making proper washing between hatches much easier. The fan and egg turner mechanisms are quieter than any of the other incubators I have used. I like how the turner is made with two plastic gears so putting it together doesn’t require any special skills and you can easily see it’s in place. I have another expensive incubator that the egg tray hasn’t settled onto the metal post all the way and been difficult adjusting it. I’ve also run the hatch for days before realized the eggs weren’t being rotated. A few things to note. The buttons for programming take some getting used to but not impossible to figure out. There are various settings for different types of eggs. I used the manual setting instead of quail. The temp setting is in Celsius and seemed consistent throughout the hatch. I needed to add water to the reservoir to get the correct humidity and appreciate the attachment for a water bottle. I did use the water bottle to bring humidity up during lock down. The alarm is loud but does it’s job. Two other incubators I’ve used didn’t have alarms. I set 26 eggs in the incubator. There are holes for 24 and I placed two eggs on the flat surface to see what happened bringing the total up to 26 eggs. On day 14 I put them in lockdown. The process was very simple. I did use shelf liner in the tray to prevent splay leg. I had a 100% hatch rate. I am very pleased with this incubator and look forward to using it again. I used the Vanpopubs 24 Egg Incubator for hatching Coturnix Quail Eggs from my own covey. The item was shipped and arrived in good condition, timely manner and packaged very well. Save the packaging you can use it to add extra insulation if you have a power outage or in a drafty area. The incubator has a 12 volt adapter that I did not use but would come in handy in a power outage. The manual made the setup easy and simple. The machine is well built and sturdy. The incubator I received only has Celsius settings. Some people will find this as a negative. Not that big of a deal for me. I used a trusted calibrated Thermometer/Hygrometer, and suggest that you use one too. The unit that I received the temperature was off by 0.7°C or 1.2° F. The humidity was off by 0.5%. Once I got the temperature and humidity set, they both stayed pretty consistent. The daily average temperature only fluctuated 0.3°F and the humidity only fluctuated 1%. I candle my eggs at lockdown with mixed results. The Egg Candle on the incubator showed 100% development. It could have been that the egg shells are so dark or just me. My trusted egg candle showed 20 out of 23 eggs had good development. I did add a piece of shelf liner in the Bottom Cassis after removing the Egg Tray to give the chick a better grip to walk on. The water bottle worked great no leaks or mess. Day 17 the eggs started to hatch, right on time. Day 18 I have 19 Happy Healthy little chicks running around the incubator. That is a 95% hatch rate. I gave it 4 ⭐ because it didn't have a choice for fahrenheit settings and the mixed results on the egg candle. I WOULD SUGGEST THIS INCUBATOR TO SOMEONE JUST GETTING STARTED OR A HOBBYIST. I am a professional breeder and I reviewed this incubator as part of an experiment with several brands. I used quail eggs and got almost 100% hatch rate. No curled toes. All survived. I did not add water until the last few days because our natural humidity is in the 30’s and this is perfect. I used my govee to check for fluctuations and it was steady. It was kept on my desk in a fairly temperature consistent room. I would definitely recommend this incubator for small batches, kids and newbys. ... show more

This review is being done in two parts. First off this unit comes packaged decent, I feel outer box could be stronger, after unboxing, I looked over the items, the little feeder and waterer are better off being removed from the items, the plastic is put on before assembly making it a task to remove should be die cut plastic protective cover. Also hold on to the Styrofoam packing, it will be useful to insulate the unit in winter. I believe this company could save money and just make out of Styrofoam like others. So far happy with the unit. I am at 3.75 out of 5 on it as it is from set up to hatch. Temp readings could use c and f switching, instructions are in English. Part two of the reviews. The incubator has a few things that should be addressed, first off the humidity control is really cheap and effects hatch success. They should also include a quail tray with it . Get rid of the clear plastic top and just use Styrofoam. It hatched a few eggs for me but I believe the humidity control was the biggest issue. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a wonderful addition to my incubator lineup, and so far it's my favorite. Love the design and that it comes with an optional styrofoam dome and foundation for extra insulation, love that I can see both a temperature and humidity readout on the top even with the Styrofoam on. I tested it with my own thermometer and humidity gauge before risking my expensive eggs and found that not only is the built in one accurate, but the temperature is also very stable, with only two tenths of a degree variation no matter the temp changes in the room so far (fahrenheit). I haven't lost a single fertile egg in development so far. It's really set it and forget it, or so it seems, but I will update this review after hatch. My only problem with it is that I wish I could get a quail egg rack for it. I also should have read the manual- the low temperature alarm is extremely useful but I had to scramble to read the manual and figure out how to shut it off when it came on while I had the incubator open to check the eggs. Overall it seems like a real quality machine so far. Update: looks like a great hatch rate and a healthy batch of chicks! ... show more
