My driveway is around 300 feet long. In the winter it can get pretty nasty with some big drifts. I can put this in the adapter I have for my tractors 3 point hitch and it makes taking the garbage to the road a breeze.

    • It makes the job easier
The garbage can hitch works well for helping deliver trash cans down long driveways. I use it on my Bobcat tractor with a 3-point hitch. This allows me to lift the trash can without help. On a fixed receiver you will have to pick up the trash can to put in on and also to take it off. This may be quite a hassle for heavy loaded trash cans. Mine arrived damaged from shipping but it still serves its purpose. I can't fault the manufacturer for poor delivery from amazon. ... show more

    • Not what you think
I tried. I really tried. First, this does not fit into the attachment that you can use to raise and lower it. It’s female/female. Would need a steel fabricator to make an adapter. Second, when trying to use this installed into a tow hitch(like the company said to do when emailed) it’s either too low and the can does not hook in or it’s too high with a height adapter and you literally have to pick up the can and place it on the hook.
