It's very sturdy and feels great in your hands. More expensive then a plastic one, but it's worth it for the feel and quality. In a car it doesn't matter as much to me. But on a motorcycle it seems nicer to have. Fits great. Works great. It's very solid in the DIN port when plugged in. Funny part of the story is when I installed it didn't register any voltage. I thought, oh man it's defective. So I double check the power port, nothing. Ending up taking off the cover to access it, and I found the wiring connector was not plugged in all the way from the previous owner of my new to me 2011 BMW R1200RT. Nice little USB adaptor that fit into my factory plug on my KTM 990. Not cheap plastic like most, but metal and appears well made. Only wish there was an option to turn off the digital read out, rather than removing plug. Overall, nice product.
