We have been using this water dispenser for a year now, and are entirely pleased with this product. The manufacturer's packaging was excellent, and it was received with no defect of any kind. (Was delivered by FedEx, although that may not be your experience.) Good design and solidly built for an all-plastic appliance. Separate on/off switches for hot and cold are easily accessible on back at top left. We selected a top-loading (gravity) design to allow for placement in garage in location not readily accessible to AC power for pump. Lifting 5-pound water jugs is not easy, but certainly doable for a person of normal strength. (3-pound bottles are also available.) Heating/cooling of water appears adequate, although we have only limited experience with these functions. (We have well water and are using the dispenser for household drinking/cooking only.) One possible consideration when choosing a dispenser type that we were not aware of: very rarely, the plastic seal on a top-loaded bottle CAN leak. (This occurred only once this entire past year, but thought it was worth mentioning.) This does not produce a waterfall-- just a puddle-- but would not be fun if this occurred indoors on a carpet or wood floor. Bottom-line: a well-designed and well-made product for lighter household use, and ideal for garage placement where outlet may not be accessible and lifting of heavy water bottles is not a problem for the user(s). ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This was my 1st of 2 units. I wasn't going to leave a review, but after the 2nd one showed up and was also defective, I decided I should warn whoever is considering this unit. The first one stopped working after 2 weeks. You would push the button, and upon release, the water just kept coming... After back and forth with Amazon and Igloo, Amazon finally sent me a 2nd unit. The 2nd unit put out some REALLY oily/filmy water that was over 900ppm. I was using a ZEROWATER filter that is usually under 20ppm (my tap is nearly 400ppm). It took quite a bit of cleaning to get the ppm down to where it should have been with my ZEROWATER filters. I woke up today to find it leaked out of the bottom and all over the kitchen floor over night. Don't waste your time or money buying this. There's no way I'm 0/2 and others aren't experiencing the same things. Make sure you buy the warranty! ... show more

Good for a simple cup of water, but if you're filling a water bottle, you'll need some ice cubes. Other than that, it makes a high pitch squeak at intervals that are random, but 24/7 ... show more

My friend got one of these water coolers for her Day Spa. I immediately bought one. It comes just as shown-the only thing you have to hook up is the bottle of water. We use the 5 gallon bottles. There are 3 buttons on the top to get: Hot water, room temperature water and cold water. Hot is nice and hot and the cold is like getting it out of the refrigerator. Great feature on the top (those that have kids) is that to get your hot water, not only do you have push down the button but also push the red “button” on it to the side. Easy to do and childproof…but kids can figure things out faster that we can 😂 We have terrible tap water…it’s so bad that we get bagged ice for our freezer. Do this water cooler is fantastic! Hot water never worked, which wasn't a deal-breaker. Now after 6 months of use, the cold water tap is dripping slowly but constantly. It sounds like dripping cold water is a pretty common flaw with these.
