This is the perfect wavemaker for my 20 gallon aquarium. I previously had one of the cheaper $15 suction cup ones but it was large and quite noisy (and bacteria would get stuck behind the suction and smell bad). This wavemaker is absolutely amazing. It is small and sleek and blends right into the black background of my tank. It is super advanced with 3 oscillating patterns (and constant) and adjusting intensity. Its super easy to use. It makes super low noise but a slight hum which i find soothing (I sleep in the same room as my tank) After getting this wavemaker my fish became so much happier with the natural like flow. The magnetic attachment to the wall is so convenient to move because you dont have to reach in the water. The wavemaker comes with three different guards meaning you can take off the front grates to clean it easy. All in all, it is worth the money, functional, and has good enough speed for a 20 gallon aquarium

Other people said this was to strong in a 10-15 gallon aquarium. Not true, my saltwater reef aquarium is 13.5 and this is perfect, I have it about 2 inches from the surface and it keeps all the anenome and water moving perfectly, even on its highest setting there is no sandstorm. Others who said it was to strong I assume did not put the foam guard over the pump intakes as this slows flow considerably. Good little wave maker for the $

This wavemaker moves a lot of water. It is adjustable and has different modes. The problem is even at it's lowest setting and pulsing it is just a little too powerful for my 13.5gal Fluval Evo. Even with the foam side cover it moves so much water from the back corner it upsets some corals on the front center of the tank. If you can limit the flow a little with some rockwork without causing it to blow your sand everywhere it would be perfect.

Starts out working amazing, and like other reviewers stated: It starts grinding after a few months. I took it apart, cleaned, and still makes grinding sound like bearing going bad. Size was perfect for my 10 gallon, doesn't take up real estated. Setup was easy enough, simple push button, but 2 months of use and it goes bad? Dissapointed. Get what you pay for I guess.

This little guy really does a nice job in my 20 gal nano tank. I love the feed mode and the three options for flow doesn’t make any noise has plenty of power. I have one on one side of the tank and one on the other has different heights and it literally pushes water into this tank with no problems I know some people have said it worked great until it didn’t well for the price. I’ll take that chance.

works great for my 18”x18”x18” nano cube tank. Doesn’t take up much space. My return pump wasn’t enough to circulate flow like I needed throughout the tank, so I ordered this and placed it about center of the back wall facing forward. Plenty of flow on level 2. My fish seem to enjoy the current it produces. It’s just enough to circulate sitting debris from the sand bed and rock scape without destroying everything. Seems to be silent on all three power settings, and it was easy to hook up. Wish I could find one this size that could be angled but I’m happy with this for the money.

This little pump is amazing. I’m using it in a 14 gallon tank, the pump is about 2 feet away from where I sit, and it is totally quiet. The pump is running on the lowest flow setting in pulse mode and the corals and anemone are nicely extended. Added bonus, the surface film is gone due to better water movement.
