I have a tendency to abuse my hoses. It is not intentional but I am small and they are always heavy and difficult to maneuver. The ones that promise not to kink always do. Hence I tend to not store my hoses well in order to get long life out of them. They annoy me. But I LOVE this hose. It is lightweight and easy to move around. It never kinks. It looks much shorter than it can be. Once you turn the water on, it expands and grows to its full potential. When you're finished with it, it is easy to empty any water remaining in the hose and it returns to its shorter, lightweight appearance. It is simple to loop it around the faucet a few times and thereby keep it away from lawnmowers and other harmful machinery. It appears tough also, as though it wouldn't easily tear or puncture, though I have no desire to test that. The fittings on both ends are also great and easily connect as they are meant to. Love, love, love this hose. Five stars. Highly recommend.

Today is Oct 17 2024 I purchased this 75ft hose Oct 2 2024 with Prime so I received 2 days later. By Oct 15 2024 it had sprung a leak and I only used it twice to water my plants in my backyard. I bought this because it claims that it is non-burst. I've have purchased other expandable hoses and in a year they spring a leak. This hose did not make it 30 days!!! I am returning and will try their pro-series expandable hose to see if it more durable.

I have gone through many different hoses over the years and have found them to be a constant issue. The rubber ones are annoying, heavy and unmanageable in the area around plants where I use them and the flexible hoses break within a years time. I am hoping to get more time out of this one as it does seem better than the leading brands. The hardware at each end of the hose is much better metal and there is an on/off switch at the handle end that is extremely convenient. If you’re looking for an expandable and flexible hose I think this is the best one on the market. It’s funny how little it gets and once you turn on the water it expands like crazy! It’s an added bonus as you can house it in a much smaller container than usual hoses! If you’re looking for a lightweight hose this is the best one I have found out there for sure. I am taking one star away as I don’t know how long it will last but I will update in a year or so and if it’s still in decent shape I would give it 5 starts all the way!

Had this hose a couple of months when i turned it on and a long balloon came out of the housing and exploded and got water all over me. It also destroyed the use of the hose. While it was past the time I could return it, I notified the manufacturer and they immediately sent me a new hose. I have a shorter hose by the same manufacturer and it has all along worked fine. Couldn’t ask for a better resolution.

Very durable and light weight, so easy to maneuver around the yard. I attached a quick-change adapter to it, making it very versatile for either watering the plants or attaching a dilution sprayer. I've been using this for a few months now, and it's holding up great. I definitely recommend this for the yard. Do not use in the bedroom.

Finally...a hose as described. It is about 25 ft. long when not in use and fully expands to 75 ft. when filled with water. Works great for me.

The media could not be loaded. DO NOT BUY HYDROTECH products, especially from: HEARTHSHIRE Approximately a month after purchasing this hose, the faucet coupling began to leak. At first it was barely a small mist, but within a couple weeks it has become a not insignificant trickle. It continues to increase, day by day. The hose is fastened properly to the faucet, the leak is coming from within the plastic assembly, a seal has failed somewhere. The 3rd party vendor (Hearthshire) declined to address the matter in any way. So I contacted the manufacturer, the product has a very good warranty. HydroTech however claims that since Hearthshire is not an authorized retailer, they are not obligated to replace/repair the item. Amazon has become involved in the matter, and is the only party that has been helpful and expressed any genuine concern. In the meantime I will be shopping for another hose, and based upon the clear lack of customer care by HYDROTECH and HEARTHSHIRE, I will forever avoid the former's products, and the latter's retail operation. The connections are solid, the outer material is resistant to snags. The hose handles the pressure without issue. So far, so good. It is getting progressively worse and it is something that cannot be tolerated as I live in the desert and water conservation is essential. The retailer/vendor (HEARTHSHIRE) has proven to be completely disinterested in the matter. I have contacted the manufacturer (HYDROTECH) and am waiting for their response. Once they get back to me, I will update this review.
