  • Game changer!
Color: TREK-Z V2 (Blue) Size: 115cm-135cm
I had never used hiking poles before but I purchased these for a trip to Costa Rica. They were reasonably priced and had good reviews. They’re lightweight, and compact so good for traveling with. They’re easy to assemble/disassemble, it’s easy to adjust them for height, and they’re sturdy. I don’t have the best balance so my main reason for purchasing hiking poles was so that I would have a little more stability on uneven ground. And these did exactly that. Whether it was going uphill, downhill or scrambling over volcanic rack these really helped me to maintain my footing. ... show more

  • Great value!
Color: TREK-Z V2 (Black) Size: 100cm-120cm
I have used them twice since they arrived, on a recent trip to Peru on Rainbow mountain and here at home in Colorado. They are good quality, easy to assemble and break down to fit in my pack, sturdy, they support my weight (203 lbs) without slipping. I suppose you could pay more and get better trekking poles but these do the job for a much better price. I would definitely recommend these trekking poles. ... show more

  • Very decent poles, but grips are EVA, not cork
Color: TREK-Z V2 (Blue) Size: 100cm-120cm
These are very decent folding trekking poles for a reasonable price as far as I can tell - but many people don't appear to read or understand the instructions well (watching YT video helps) and leave negative reviews, which I think is not always deserved. The pole has a total of 5 sections: main fixed part (with grips), 2nd extendible part that slides into the main part (for adjustable length), held in place with a squeeze clip, and 3 fixed folding sections of which the upper section slides into the extendible part above. These need to be unfolded and extended to their maximum length and locked in place (at fixed length) with a click button. A cable runs through the 4 sections that as a whole can be removed from the main section. If you don't set this up right, sections may seem loose or broken, but that happens if something is really broken inside. I think this risk is similar for other folding poles that I have been comparing, and there might also be issues with the button that some complain collapses inside the pole. The quality of all parts can vary between various brands, but these Trekology poles seem pretty good to me and I like the color blue. Unfortunately I need to return them, because the grip is EVA foam, made to look like cork, and not real cork (which is what I want). The loops are thinner and more flexible than other poles so they are softer but it is harder to get your hands through them. The cable through the poles is thicker than in other poles. I would have kept these poles if it weren't for the EVA grips. ... show more

  • Trekology Trek-Z Collapsible Hiking & Trekking poles.
Color: TREK-Z V2 (Blue) Size: 115cm-135cm
I really enjoyed my Trek-Z walking & hiking poles. Very easy to collapse & store in a travel bag or case. They are light weight but are very strong & durable. I’m planning a trip to National Parks in California, should be great for hiking.

  • Awesome Poles
Color: TREK-Z V2 (Blue) Size: 100cm-120cm
I purchased two sets of these poles for me and my wife. They arrived very quickly, just days after ordering. They collapse to a size that fit nicely in our daypacks. We purchased these walking sticks and used them for the Camino de Santiago, a 800 km trek (pilgrimage) across Spain. These poles performed flawlessly, were sturdy, and folded to a compact size when needed to store in our packs. My wife and I found that these poles assembled and disassembled easily and were very comfortable to use and extremely supportive while walking our trek. The soft and adjustable hand straps made gripping the poles comfortable. My wife and I never experienced hand or grip fatigue, using these poles for our entire journey. There is also a strip of Velcro attached to each pole which made stowing the poles in a collapsed state easy. Three of the sections are a fixed length with a fourth section that locks into an adjustable length using a quick release lever. The only downside to these poles we experienced was a black aluminum dust that developed on the connecting points, which if we didn't wipe of periodically would get on our hands and clothes when disassembling or assembling the poles. I found these Mobility Aides as I call them, a great value for the money and a welcomed piece of equipment for any hike. ... show more

  • Perfect for travel...
Color: TREK-Z V2 (Blue) Size: 100cm-120cm
These poles collapsed perfectly into our checked baggage and would likely fit in many larger carry-ons too. We bought them for a trip to Norway knowing that we'd be doing some hiking, and they were excellent when we really needed them - hiking up and down some steep paths by waterfalls, along ungroomed as well as groomed trails. Knowing how well they helped us keep our balance and stay upright, we won't leave home for trails without them. Couldn't be more satisfied. They come with pouches which was nice, we could sleeve them and put them in a small backpack when using public transportation or walking in town. Easy to open as well as to fold, very efficient. ... show more

  • Strong, compact and easy to use
Color: TREK-Z V2 (Black) Size: 100cm-120cm
I am a senior and not in peak condition. I worried about walking, esp. on cobblestones during a recent vacation in Europe. I bought these poles to help me with balance and stability while on walking excursions. The poles are light and strong. They are adjustable to your height (I am on the shorter side) and come with several tips that can be changed to best match the terrain you are on. I used one pole only during walking excursions in towns. They helped so much with my balance, esp. when I started to slow down and the added support allowed me to continue to walk, instead of giving up and sitting down. I used both when walking on the ship walking track. I will continue to use these as I ramp up my walking around my neighborhood to help improve my physical conditioning. For me, this was a great purchase! ... show more
