I gave this item as a gift. The recipient informed me of the weight limit of a 60 lbs discrepancy listed on the website description (300 lbs) and in the Owner's Manual (100 kg (240 lbs). After reading all of the negative reviews left by previous customers, I am left wondering if that difference in weight capacity is the plausible cause for the many reports of easily damage, hydraulic fluid leakage, and obnoxious squeaky noises while using this stepper. I've reached out to the seller about my concerns only to get those generic "product is fine" answers. My friend refuses to use it... ... show more

I’m not sure if this is normal but after 3 min. It starts to smell like it’s burning. Maybe I’m going too fast for my own good. I use it every day for 15 min and after the 3rd day it started squeaking so loud I couldn’t tell if it was my knees or the machine. It’s pretty loud now after using it for a week. I’ll get going for a good 6 minutes and all of a sudden the pedals go limp like my ex husband. It’s quite startling when you get into it and all of a sudden I feel like I’m not good enough to ride this ride. I only weigh a buck fiddy and now I just wanna give up and eat cookies. I’ll still live my best life tho regardless of how this machine made me feel. ... show more
