I sauna: dry, steam, infrared. I purchased this infrared blanket just before going on a trip where I knew I was going to be stressed. LOVED IT! I slept in one bed and the blanket was on the other. Perfect arrangement. It fits in an overhead suitcase (my blanket has it own) and I purchased a red light to travel with me too. LOVED it! That is the way I am going to travel from now on! I was Sooooooo relaxed and did not have to run around trying to find local businesses to meet my needs - I carried it with me. The blanket get HOT so make sure you have an insert; you do not want to burn yourself. Originally I thought that this was going to be my travel spa but after understanding that the Infrared sauna room takes 45 minutes to heat up......45 mins! I could have been done with my entire session!....I decided to make this my permanent solution. It heats up in minutes, Does a wonderful job.     • No Regrets — It Does the Job
I’m am active 52-year-old man. In my late 30’s & early 40’s I used to lift heavy at the gym, then do a long sauna or steam room afterwards. These days I don’t have time for all that, so i do strength training with resistance bands, and use both rucking and a small stationary cycle for cardio. I’ve been considering a sauna alternative for awhile, and decided to investigate. After extensive review, my top choices were Bon Charge, Heat Healer, Higher Dose, and Hydragun. Despite the awesome reviews, I ruled out Higher Dose because the temps weren’t high enough for me. Heat Healer looked a bit complicated, and in honestly thought they had a crappy website for what I’d consider a premium product. Bon Charge was convincing, but is not available on Amazon and it’s pricier than the Hydragun by about $100 AND it doesn’t boast zero EMF…. so I pulled the trigger on this product. Just got it today. Unboxing was quick and painless, no parts or heavy instructions. Plug and play, common sense controls. I just did an hour at high heat (176F). It was hot enough to get a sweat on. I’m 5’10”, 215lbs, maybe 20% bf. In the beginning I was worried it wasn’t gonna work. By the end I was cooked. Could it have been maybe 5-10 degrees hotter? Sure, but it felt about as hot as you’d want it while still staying safe. The only reasons I didn’t give it 5 stars (which it almost deserves) are: 1) They could’ve made the cord on the control unit slightly longer. I mean it’s fine, it’s just…. it could’ve been a few inches longer. 2) I spent a lot of time preoccupied with trying to find a comfortable direction to position my feet. It’s a heavy blanket — which is a positive, you want it to close on you and keep the heat in — but you end up with your toes either weirdly turned in, weirdly turned out, or straight up and feeling a bit smashed by the blanket. I wear a size 11 men’s shoe (US). So yeah, great product, no regrets, will definitely use it…. just wish there were some space for my feet and a longer cord. Something to consider. EDIT: Also want to add that (at highest temp) it kinda burns your heels, even with socks on, so I've found putting a towel or small bath mat under my feet makes a big difference. ... show more

    • I absolutely love love love this and can’t live without it
I opened it up and was using it within 8 minutes. I was sweating within 30 and relaxed. By the time the full hour was over, I was drenched. This thing did it’s job. I use it every other night and go to bed so relaxed. I’m not a bath person, but showering afterwards and going right to bed is therapeutic. I wake up refreshed. ... show more

    • Does not get hot enough to sweat
The construction quality of the unit is very good and as described. I chose it based on reviews for the materials. I didn't expect that it wouldn't get hot enough to even break a sweat. In an actual IR sauna, I sweat at 140 degrees and can't tolerate the higher heat. In this blanket, set at 176, I stayed in the blanket for 50 minutes and it didn't even get as hot as an electric blanket. I tried it multiple times to make sure and today I used a digital laser thermometer to check the heat. It never got above 125 degrees even though the controller said it was 176. ... show more

I noticed some people said they don't swet. Yes the 1st time I really didn't sweat. But does it matter? Some people don't sweat. Anyway I love it. It has helped with my lower back. It made my skin glow, and I've lost 1 pound. Lol. I only used it 4 times in the passed 8 days. The 4rd time sweat a lot. So I feel just keep with it. I like the fact this one had no EMF. Which is important. It's thick. I don't have to worry about my cats. ... show more
