Went together easy out of the box. Started right up. Cleared 2 acres of brush on a hill and it worked amazingly well. Chewed up small trees a couple inches in diameter. Highly recommend.

    • Shouldn’t be leaking fuel
I love this weed eater, cuts through brush and helped me reclaim my backyard. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because after 5months of use fuels leaks from the line when not in use, so my storage room smells like gas. For the price I shouldn’t have any issues this soon.

Powerful, very well built, does a great job as expected from Husqvarna which makes high quality equipment. Starts ok. Follow directions. If it says to pump 10 times, pump 10 times and adjust the choke as directed.

Comes with blade attached which works just OK. No instructions in the manual to change attachments/attach included trimmer head. Nut holding blade on is counter threaded (reverse) and you need to put the hex wrench down in the hole to hold it to uninstall blade. Then I threaded the trimmer head on, cranked up motor, and head does not spin. Cannot unscrew trimmer head by turning in either direction. Completely useless object now that I paid over $200 for. Im so angry and disappointed. Should have just left the blade on there, but hindsight is 20/20. Learn from my mistake. ... show more

Some points to understand: 1...You won't be able to return this item to Amazon. 2...Husqvarna customer service won't be able to help you. If you contact them, they will send you a link to a Husqvarna web page which will be of no help at all. 3...When you need service, you will seek out a dealer near you that you did not buy the brush cutter from. Expect to be chastised, since they all sell at retail for about the same price. 4...You should order the carburetor adjustment tool at the same time you order the brush cutter. This is a special tool to adjust the carburetor, which has splined screws. The tool looks like a special nut driver but has splines instead of a socket. The carburetor will probably require adjustment. I live at high alititude and the brush cutter would not run without adjustment. It is fiddly. Watch the youtube videos to get an idea of what is required. 5...Note the special grade fuel requirement, which may not be available where you live. Husqvarna suggests their own fuel, which is about ten dollars per quart. 6...Once you get it running, it does a decent job. ... show more
