Husqvarna Brushcutter 122RJ
Packaging is top tier. Trimmer is well boxed and nothing shifted and more importantly, nothing was damaged. Easy to put guard and handle on it as well. As expected the first start took a minute but once it started it ran flawlessly. Wish I bought this sooner tbh. Great brand, well made and great value. ... show more

Beast
I have a few minor quibbles, but they are overshadowed by the fact that this thing is a straight beast. The small complaints I have are that the protective guard came off in the first 10 minutes while I was operating it and kind of ate itself. The front plastic plate with the ID/model label was also broken off in the box. The blade guard was fixable, but the front cover was broken off at the screw bosses, so it was not fixable; but it’s essentially useless anyway. I bought this to clear a canyon of brush and weeds. It can easily cut through 1/2” brush, and even 1” branches with a couple of passes. It is equally adept at cutting grass and weeds. The best thing about it though, is how easy it starts, and it idles happily without any goosing, which is more than I can say for my standard string trimmer. ... show more

Better off using a machete
If you are interested in learning how to adjust a carburetor this is the pos for you! Fired right up out of the box and ran for about 5 minutes. Turned it off and that was the last time it was usable. Found out if you want this tool you will need to buy a special wrench and get your youtube degree in small engine repair. ... show more

Worth it
Works great! leveled a yard with a month of overgrowth in about an hour. i didnt give 5 stars as it is a royal pain in the backside to get started, but once its running it does not stop! the included blade but though 2 inch stalks and shrubs like butter.

First use
I'm on my first use of this trimmer, and let me just say, so far, it's a beast! It easily cut though brush that I'd have thought would've needed some sort of saw. Now, I can't say how long it'll last, but so far it's with the money!

Known for reliability.
Husqvarna never disappoints. I have three various trimmers with the oldest nearing twenty years, and it's still running like the day I bought it. The only maintenance I've done is cleaning or changing the air filter.
