There I was, standing on the top of a ladder, dusting the ceiling fan, and...you guessed it...the glass bowl slipped off of the bottom of the fan (it must have come loose from the vibrations) and I watched it fall to the ground and shatter into a million pieces. How could I have been so careless? Thankfully Amazon had this replacement. Not cheap, but it's the price I pay for being a knucklehead. I don't know what those other reviews are talking about. It came with a replacement finial and the "washer" has the second hole for the fan cord if you need it. It is not an exact match for the original, but no one is going to notice. ... show more

My original Amber Linen Bowl Glass that came with my Hunter ceiling fan was broken. While searching a replacement, I found this one. Any kind of bowl would not have given the appeal I was looking for. I needed this one for it coordinates with another light fixture at my front door entrance.
