IMPRESSED! The bed was delivered as scheduled, and by the nicest possible third-party delivery company. They called me 30 minutes prior to delivery just to ensure that I was home, they were on time, and they hauled both boxes up to my second floor apartment and brought them inside. Both boxes were well-packed and none of the parts incurred damage during shipping. Construction was time consuming, but only because the beds are well made and structured. Instructions were fairly easy to understand and parts were fairly well labeled. Some illustrations were missing minor details though (like front/back directional indicators). Kids love their bunk beds and we have saved alot of space. Definitely a solid purchase! ... show more

It serves its purpose. The metal is strong and durable. It was a nightmare trying to put it all together. The screws were all mixed up and I had to basically figure out which one was which on my own. It would of helped if everything was more clearly labelled. Also the fedex delivery guy just slammed the boxes near my door and drove off I had to bring individual pieces in by myself instead of the whole box. The bunk bed seems sturdy, which was my main concern. Now, as when putting together any furniture from a box, this was a "Pain" as most are. It might be wise to read the directions though, before beginning. With this bed, you assemble the top bunk first, then the bottom and THEN must place the whole top bed, on top of the bottom, assembled. I am not tall enough to reach high enough, had to have a neighbor come as it would take two people to do the final step. The pictures in the instructions are poor and hard to make out, had to think and reason though the instructions. But I didn't think it was right to take off a star for poor pictures. There is enough head room from the top to the upper bunk, I and my 11 year old daughter can sit up underneath with no problems. Overall, I would recommend the bunk bed. Edit: I have been trying to contact customer service for this company for several weeks and cannot get anyone to rerun my email Regarding replacement parts. Fairly easy to put together although the directions leave much to be desired. I did it alone (except for the step where you lift the top bed on top of the bottom bed) in about 3 hours with a few interruptions. Do yourself a favor and use a longer handled Allen wrench instead of the short one they give you - your hands will thank you! Perfect for my kids’ room, color looks nice. Easily scratched during set up. My biggest problem is the bedrail on the side with the ladder extends the entire length of the bed. So, you essentially have to climb the ladder then climb over the railing at the top. There’s no cut out. The ladder is also very uncomfortable on your feet! Overall, we wanted an inexpensive set for our boys, and these will work great. ... show more

The person who designed this bunk set and assembly is a masochist Every single piece is assembled by 2+ screws That are poorly machined, don’t line up and are one of 5 metric sizes that vary within 5 mm of each other (15,20,25,30,35mm in length). Every single slat on both levels is secured by two or more screws. On TOP of the tedious twisting and tightening the damn directions have you assemble the TOP set first. Nothing like lifting an entire full size bed frame onto another full size frame in a child size bedroom. Would not purchase again, to quote my husband “if we ever sell this house the bunk stays” ... show more

This product is great for the price. My kids love the build and have a full over full is a nice option. Now the drawback is that is gets loose and starts to squeak really loudly. But I guess that’s metal. But we are constantly having to retighten the screws. Otherwise a great product.

Really good looking and sturdy. Would have given it 5 stars but the ladder rings are round and easy to slip on. My 12 year old grandson fell off getting out of bed, and he was barefoot. There’s nothing for traction. Would be better if flat. We’ll have to figure out something so it doesn’t happen again. ... show more
