I hate all the cheapo fans nowadays... I don't want a remote to turn on my fan. Why??? I'm right next to the switch that I need to turn on anyway. Heck, they give you a way to mount your remote to a switch plate.. lame... Most homes have a separate switch for a fan. My house is built in the 90s and all the rooms have it. Simple wiring looks fantastic and is just what I needed. I might buy a few more in case they discontinue them... this isn't DC(thank goodness). ... show more

It took a while to find this fan, which is perfect for my living room. I was replacing an older fan that was the sole source of light in my main room. I added recessed lighting with a dimmer switch. I'd like to give a shout-out to the other reviewer who pointed out the lack of wall controls on modern fans. I didn't want a remote; I wanted a wall control. I don't even care that it ships with an old-school knob control. I found an excellent replacement for that, too (TGFS3-W-2PCS). ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Do not buy this model fan. I have been a Hunter fan believer for years. I bought three of these to update three 15 year old Hunter fans already installed. The old Hunter fans were flawless and didn’t make a noise in 15 years. The only reason for replacing them was aesthetics so we went with Hunter again. I installed the first fan and included rheostat and noticed the humming which became louder with the change of speed. I let it run while I installed the second fan and got the same result. When my wife came in the room that was her first comment that they were humming. I went back and checked all the wiring to make sure everything was correct and there wasn’t a ground issue. The video is on second speed and the humming can be heard over the fanned air. I’m returning them and having done some research, I found that Hunter was bought by Griffon Corporation in 2022. ... show more

We got 4 of these fans for our home in both sizes that are available and we love them! The lowest setting we practically leave on 24/7…the fans are super quite and do a great job of circulating the air…oh and design was exactly what we were looking for! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND 🙌

The fab itself is beautiful but the operating switch is sorely disappointing. It’s. a rotary switch from the 80s on a fan that gives a super modern appearance.
