  • Excellent camera for the money for home inspections
Camera is easy to use, good battery life, holds up well for commercial use. Company supports their products and quick to respond to questions.

  • Feels like a actual piece of equipment.
I've had 6 of these sub $1500 Thermal Imagers. They all have big claims and in my experience, none of them have been met. Just sent back the HK Micro and the 388X284 HTI USB C. And the HK was decent but the resolution wasn't quite good enough for me. The HTI USB-C had decent resolution but the focus ring was really cheap & the USB-C was pretty loose for an $800 device. TL;DR This actually feels like a Flir device of adequate quality the focus ring is decent but does take more effort to twist than I would like, What you're paying for is GREAT resolution all thermal no need for MSX or Visual Overlay here. but other than that it's a good device, not a ton of features but do you really need them (If so increase your budget)? ... show more

  • Fabulous resolution thermal imager.
Truly impressive image. Limited functionality, but does what it need to. Absolute nightmare to get the WiFi to work. Tried for months until I found out you have to disconnect your WiFi on your (android) phone before trying to connect the camera. Only then will it connect and stream images. The stream rate is much slower than the live image. It is 25 Hz camera, but is NOT high speed. Anything moving is blurred. The first camera I received had a completely defective focus, nothing within 4 feet was in focus. The replacement worked. The closest focus is listed as .19 meter, mine measured .22 meter. The focus ring is difficult to rotate. But for a $1000 nothing else comes close. ... show more

  • Does not live up to its price point
You might be thinking "This is basically a handheld HT-301!" In a way, that's true. 25Hz is nice, and 384x288 is very nice. And the image on-screen is super crisp and pretty. Unfortunately, everything else about the handheld lets the sensor down kind of dramatically * No video * High/low/center measurements only * System is too slow for measurements to actually keep up with the image * Image has a full second of latency capture-to-display, which totally defeats the one other purpose of a fast framerate besides video recording * Doesn't save thermographic data whatsoever. For $1000, you'd be MUCH better off with a name-brand product, unfortunately. ... show more

  • Irritating software
I don't know, it works I guess. Stupid expensive for what essentially is a little toy. Screen images pretty good. Tells you the temperature of the pinpoint spots pretty okay I guess. It's slow to turn on and the user interface is about as brutally basic as possible. I should have just spent the money on a flir ... show more

  • Thermal imaging not as good as stated.
Thermal resolution wasn't even close to what was stated. I have a Flir C2 and it has a stated thermal resolution much less than the stated thermal resolution on this imager. This one wasn't even close to the C2. I really need a new and better imager for work. I don't know if this was defective or is this what to expect. ... show more

  • Top quality at an affordable price
This is a really nice thermal camera that is an excellent value for the price. The refresh rate is phenomenal— you’d pay twice as much or more with the top brand in this category. I like that a case is also provided. The screen is large size. It’s a bit big— but not heavy. I definitely recommend this. ... show more
