Description

Build your own custom fire pit with a unique look today using the penta burner. The penta ring's design is such that it delivers a very uniform and full flame from edge to edge and is ideal for use with glass media! Burner holes are drilled not punched, at the 12 o'clock position of the stainless steel tubing. Want to keep your flame on low? This is the ring for you, this ring will not exhibit the ring pattern that is seen with some concentric fire rings. The 1/2 in. hub on this ring is raised to allow for proper water runoff and is low profile requiring less media. Made from stainless steel, this fire ring will not rust, and is suitable for all outdoor environments. This fire ring can be installed by a do-it-yourself installer or by a professional. This ring can be used with either natural Gas or propane (lp) applications however additional components are necessary for propane (lp) applications.

The Hearth Products Controls Penta Stainless Steel Fire Pit Burner, 24-Inch, Natural Gas gave me exactly the look I wanted. The rest of the pit has American Fyre Designs Prairie Oak Log Kit - PRO-27 , I looked for fire logs for some time before buying this set. I could have spent a lot more money, but I don't think I would be much happier. The detail on the logs are great, the size is perfect. The opening in the pit is 36" and you can see that the logs fill the opening nicely. The metal frame allows the logs to be stood up to create a campfire look. The logs came in a box through UPS and they had damaged the box and in turn broke 3 of the logs. The supplier is replaced them right away. The glass surround in the picture is American Fireglass Tempered Glass Flame Guard for 30" Square Fire Pit. The unseen fire pan is from American Fireglass 36" Square Stainless Steel Drop-in Fire Pit Pan (1/2" Nipple) ... show more

I didn't know what to expect, not how good the burner would perform until it was all finishes. Fired it up for the first time and was super impressed. This is in a 36" metal fire bowl that I adapted to natural gas. Pictures aren't even at half flow and the flames are easily 18-24". There is a 1-1/4" line reduced to 1/2" and it is plenty of volume for my firepit and 4 burner BBQ. Buy it, looks great and performs very well. ... show more

Nice addition to the round stone fire ring I built. The flames do look a bit natural, although, I wish that the holes for the flames were facing downward in lieu of up. However, this is still a very sturdy piece, very well constructed.

Just finished install and it turned out AWESOME.....ran 3/4" BI all the way to burner then reduced to the 1/2" inlet. Let me just say I will NEVER use it at full open it will melt the siding...LOL...1/3 to 1/2 open valve is more than enough. 1/3 to 1/2 open produces a nice flame with a max height of 12-14"....on full open the flame height is easily 24"30" tall....I modified a Firesense Roman fire pit for the pan and worked perfect. If you include the pipe and valves got about $350 in this project.....just FYI I do have a high flow gas meter, it was installed for my pool heater. Even with a regular meter and 1/2" BI this burner would still produce an awesome flame..... UPDATE: Added 40lbs of Starfire Glass 20-Pound Fire Glass "Fire-Cubes" 1-Inch Copper Reflective Cubes and it made a huge difference in the flame appearance and finish see pics highly recommend also..... ... show more

I wish I could tell the whole world about how crappy HPC Fire pits are. We’ve had trouble from the beginning, and it only lasted a couple of years and then went completely out!

The fire pattern is way more realistic than traditional circular burner rings, and this thing appears to be made to last. Stainless steel construction with proper sloping to avoid water buildup in your gas lines, what more can you really ask for?! I don't have a way of effectively measuring the heat output, but my gas grill is supposed to be 40,000 btu/hr and this thing is easily twice that. One thing to note when you're building your fire pit - this 24" fire ring is actually 22" and screwed on inside my 24" square table top easily. The 18" model is a bit under 16" and proved too small for the table I built. ... show more
