Received replacement ink after having only printed 6 (six) test pages. Hoping this is HP’s way of showing how replacement ink works and that nothing “triggered” the replacement. My test prints have worked well, but not quite close to the quality of my old printer (HP 8500A Plus). This printer was however far more affordable than my previous printer so not making any judgements yet. Have had good experience with HP in the past, so hoping this will yield similar results.

First let me share what I don't like so much: . The LED reading screen doesn't tilt enough to make it convenient to read and the SIZE of it should be LARGER making it truly easy to read. However, it is indeed functional. Fairly simple to figure out. . The paper at 8.5 x 11 is not held 'Securely in place' and thus some of my pages came out mis-aligned or incomplete overlapping onto a second page. (Important to gently hold the paper forward in the tray as you close the paper-tray. HOW what I LIKE or LOVE about this item: . It prints beautifully. It's not FAST, but it does beautiful work . It's VERY EASY to replace or add New Ink Cartidges-- SUPER EASY. (Just do so carefully to align as you do) . It holds quite a bit of paper . First time ever using a Scanner--- worked wonderfully and easy to do between the computer & Printer . Creating Two-Sided copies was also quite easy to do. Just following the LED directions and no problem doing so. (I may make a Video to help people learn how to do this easily) :--)) Overall-- a wonderful printer especially for the price! Worth every penny in my humble opinion or view. Ink-- as always IS EXPENSIVE these days. I was on a bad roll with HP printers. From October to February HP replaced 5. I have now found that if you don't just go by one without researching it, really reading the reviews, and know what the printer is actually capable of and it's limits you can stay with the smaller less expensive printers, but if you print 300 -900 pages the smaller printers will give you problems. On an extremely happy note, this printer has been great. I have made only 1 call to HP since February when setting it up and had questions on how to use some of its functions. The tech was very helpful and knowledgeable. Never try HP live chats if your having a tech problem. Call them!!!! Phone people have far more tools to help you with. This printer has already paid for itself twice over with the amount of time I have saved not having to be on the phone troubleshooting or doing my own troubleshooting. As a side note I constantly had issues with the printers not remaining connected to the internet. This is because printers are manufactured as 2.4G not 5G. So if your like me and your cable company only supports 5G the 2.4 G loses the connection frequently. A tech installed something for me to help the printer hold the 5 G and have had it disconnect but it is not something that I have to worry about. This printer is smart enough to fix itself and install its own updates. As reference, I print anywhere from 600-900 copies a month and have had zero problems. I do use insta ink because for the volume of copies and printing I use the printer for. I can get well over 1000 copies out of one set of cartridges. That would be at least 4 sets of cartridges at an easy 65.00 a piece from the store adding up to 260.00+ a month vs the 49.99 a month I pay for up to 1500 pages. Make sure you put it into prospective. Seems really expensive until you figure out what your going to be paying for ink from the store. Then 49.99 for 1500 copies a month sounds really good!

I bought a different brand for this printer 910XL and when I put them in it would not print. The Printer gives you the option to use different cartridges but your printer won't work when you follow the directions for other cartridge. I went to comment about this and is no longer an item available. It makes you wonder and it wasn't cheap either. I just purchased HP Cartridges 910XL I hope I don't get a message it won't print like the other brand.... We shall wait and see. PS: I didn't get the printer ink package with this Printer when purchased because I like to control my ink usage.

This printer is absolutely amazing! I just got it in today! The setup was easy and fast! It synced great with the app on my phone. The color is beautiful and I think it’s pretty fast. It goes at a good speed for teachers. I was sad when my old printer stopped working and they don’t sell it any longer but this one far met my expectations and excited to have this new purchase. If you are a teacher or print a lot, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this printer.

I have used Lexmark, HP, canon, Epson and Xerox printers. They each have their pros and cons. HPs tend to not survive beyond the third year. Cannons survive up to about four years. The rest all vary depending on circumstances. I’ve had this printer now for about a year or so. It’s a good printer. Set up is fairly easy, it was shipped well packaged, and the colors are vibrant. The ease of set up on a wireless network is extremely good. However, the only caveat I found was the ink. It is difficult to find ink that will work with this printer. Unless of course you purchase HP only ink - which is very expensive. If you’re looking for third-party cheaper ink, you will have a difficult time. They basically set it up so that the ink cartridges have a chip that must match what HP considers to be compatible ink. Without this chip, your ink will not work. The printer will not function. Otherwise, the printer performs as it should and though I would recommend this product, I would preface that recommendation with a warning about the Ink.

Use for home office. With arthritic hands, I was unable to remove the plastic orange ink cartridges cover and had to get a neighbor to do it for me. This is not a happy thing for me to have to do every time I buy ink.
